Lady Tsunade POV
You were standing in front of the Hokage. She looked at you stunned. She wasn't expecting you to come up with such a plan, her eyes were wide and she seemed to be calculating the risks. "It's a reckless plan." she thought, "Firstly, there's the fact that she'll be going in alone. Not to mention that once Kakashi finds out about this; and that I ok'd it, he'll be furious and he'll immediately go after her."
"You do realize that if this plan fails, I will not send in any of my ninja to help you. You'll be on your own." She stated, resting her chin in the middle of her intertwined fingers. You nodded,
"I wasn't expecting anything less." you stated.
The Hokage sighed "I don't want to ok this, but there doesn't seem to be an alternative." She pondered,. her eyebrows knitting together. "I guess I'll just have to find a way to keep Kakashi form knowing." she sighed.
Your POV
Your plan was simple, but it was going to be difficult to pull off. You were going infiltrate (I/n) and quickly kill all of your sisters advisers. You knew that she wasn't a fighter and though she had somewhat of a strategic mind, she wasn't smart enough to fully command an invasion on another land by herself and be successful. If, by some chance, she decided to go through with war without her advisers, you would capture her and bring her back to the Leaf. For this plan to work, you needed to assassinate all of your sisters advisers within three days; so as to not give them time to figure out who you were or to devise a plan to launch an attack early. If you were successful, you still needed to stay hidden in your homeland long enough to determine whether or not your sister planned to still go to war with the Leaf. If she showed signs of defeat and didn't seem like she would go through with an attack, you would leave silently; without anyone knowing that you had been there. If, however, she did decide to go through with an attack, you would capture her before she could make a move, and bring her back to the Leaf; still making sure that your identity was unknown. Then the Hokage could negotiate the terms of your sisters release and the alliance directly with the land of fire and your sister would have no choice but to comply.
Time was everything in this mission. You had to make it to your village very soon so as to not waste time and give your sister and her advisers anymore time to plan. There was also the three day time limit to kill all of your sisters advisers as well as the time it would take to determine your sisters next move. If you left too early, she could surprise you and decide at the last minute to attack. If you left too late you could be caught.
Your sister had already been planning this war for around six months; give or take a few weeks. You had to leave as soon as possible if you were going to change the course of the coming events.
"Are you sure you want to do this alone?" lady Tsunade asked, a small frown revealing itself on her pale face. "Are you sure you don't want to take Kakashi with you?"
"Yes. He may be a good ninja, but I don't want to get him unnecessarily involved in this. Besides, he wouldn't be much help since he wouldn't know who to look for." you stated logically. The Hokage sighed again.
"I know what's been going on between the two of you. Do you think he's just going to let you leave?"
"That's not my concern at the moment. I'll be counting on you to keep him here and if possible keep him form knowing any of this, but I know how perceptive he is." You stated.
"I know, that's why I want you to take someone with you. If you don't want to take Kakashi then take Lee or Kiba even Naruto. At least that way Kakashi would be a little less upset knowing that someone was with you." The Hokage reasoned.
