KADE's POV

After paying for the stuff I bought, Erika invited me to a nearby restaurant. We ordered food and I decided na mag-takeout na lang ng pagkain for Hanna.

"So you're married now, huh?" She uttered as if hindi sya naniniwala.

I showed her my ring at agad nyang kinuha ang kamay ko to have a closer look of it. I smiled warmly at her and pinched her cheeks. "May balak ka bang nakawin ang singsing ko?" I joked.

She just pouted her lips. "Do I look like a thief, baby?" She put emphasis on the last word.

I just chuckled. "No, baby." I said, imitating her voice.

Her eyes squinted when I answered her. She never changed. She still looks pretty after the last time I saw her. Ilang taon na ba nung huli kaming nagkita? 3 years? 5 years? I forgot.

She's a grown woman now. Her style changed maybe after she went to London to study Medicine. I never had a clue kung anong kurso ang kinukuha nya. I bet she's still studying now.

Her hairstyle is now in Pixie cut unlike the long and straight hair she had. I admit. She looked fierce and sexy. Sophisticated and elegant.

"Oh. Nandito na pala yung order natin, baby." She said before the waiter put all our orders on the table. She even winked to the waiter.

I let out a soft chuckle. "You're still playful, eh?"

"Well, you know me."

"Tell me then, Doctor Fernandez." I teased her.

Impit syang tumawa. "Baliw ka. Hindi pa naman ako doktor no. Three years pa. Pero kung di ako papasa sa licensure, baka matanda na bago ako maging doktor."

"You can do it. I believe in you." I reached her hand and pressed it.

She just smiled at me and we go on our feastive meal. She told about her struggles in London. The first time she adjusted until the time she went home. Kahapon lang pala sya umuwi. She doesn't want to tell anyone because she want her presence to be a surprise.

After we finished eating, she told me that she is now going to see Cassie. Well, they are really close. And so do we.

"Do you want me to drop you off at Mommy's house?" Alok ko.

"No need. I have my own car."

I just shrugged and gave her a light kiss on her cheeks. "I gotta go. Hanna is waiting for me."

"I want to meet him, baby." Lambing nya sa akin. She never fail to tease me.

Dahil mas matangkad ako sa kanya, I pinched her nose. "Next time, Ate. Next time."

She nodded and we parted our ways.

Erika Fernandez is like my guardian angel. She is adopted by Daddy at sya din ang nagpapaaral kay Ate Erika sa London. Erika doesn't want to be legally adopted kaya Fernandez pa din ang apelyido nya. Her biological parents are farmers in La Union and they are very thankful that their eldest child has attained complete education. Her parents did not abandoned her nor meglected her. She applied in our mansion as a maid when she's just 13. But my Mom pitied her and decided to adopt her and fund her education.

Erika is my lucky charm. Aside from Mom, she was the only person that I always obey. I don't like to call her "Ate" because she stands shorter than me. Actually, she is 5 years older than me.
