KADE's POV

Erika keeps on pestering me as soon as she found out that I got back from Baguio. She's like the older version of Cassie. Pareho silang mahilig mang-inis at mangulit.

Balak ko sanang puntahan ang bahay ng mga Lim to check if Hanna is there pero mas inuna ko ang pagsama kay Erika. May importante daw kasi syang nalaman. Sumama na lang ako sa kanya para matapos na sya sa pangungulit sa akin.

"A maternity hospital?" I asked her before we stepped out of the car.

Tumango lang sya. "Yep. We're here to see my friend. She's also an OB-Gynecologist."

"Is that your specialty, too?" Kasi ang alam ko lang ay Medicine ang kinukuha ni Erika sa abroad. I didn't know what expertise.

"Yep. I'd be prying vaginas to welcome a new life for the rest of my life." Buong siglang sabi nya. Damn, she's weird.

Bago pa man kami pumasok sa entrance ng clinic ay kinakabahan na ako. What would we be doing here, anyway? And what does maternity has to do with me?

Erika kept on mumbling as we enter the building. As expected, there are a lot of pregnant women.

"Where's Dra. Luna?" Erika asked a man wearing a white coat, a doctor I think.

"Oh. Ikaw pala 'yan Erika. When did you come back?" The guy was delighted to see her.

Erika tapped the doctor's shoulder. "A month ago. By the way, this is my younger brother, Kade Montecort."

The doctor and I both shaked hands. "Dr. Jan Miguel Boller." He smiled at me at hindi na lang ako nagsalita. "What brings you here?" Baling nya kay Erika.

"Uhm. Is Lilia here? My brother here, needs to confirm something from Dr. Luna." Tanong ni Erika habang nakaakbay sa akin.

"I see. Pero wala sya dito ngayon. Tomorrow's her regular schedule. Dapat ay bukas kayo pumunta."

Erika sighed. "Ay ganun ba. Nagbago kasi ng mobile number yung babae na 'yun."

"Ano ba kasi ang itatanong mo kay Dr. Luna? Maybe I can give you an answer." Dr. Jan voluntarily said.

He lead us to a room. Madami silang napagkwentuhan ni Erika. And by the statements they said, they're classmates sa pre-med school dati.

We sat on the couch. Nauna nang nagsalita si Erika.

"My brother is looking for his wife. Her name is Hanna."

Dr. Jan frowned. "I have a patient kanina. Her name is Hanna too."

Nakuyom ko ang kamao ko. I am really eager to find her... again. Kahit na ikamatay ko pa, basta mahanap ko lang sya.
