Maaga akong nagising. I can see the sunlight vividly as soon as I opened my eyelids. The temperature was warm for the start of summer season.
"Oh, gising ka na pala anak." I heard my Papa's voice. He was standing on my bedroom's door.
Agad akong umupo and I smiled to him. "Saan kayo pupunta, Papa?" I asked him.
Hunter was clinging to his waist. The little kid was wearing a blue floral shorts, a cute aviator sunglass and an inflatable arm floater. Looks like he's dipping in a swimming pool.
Hunter jumped on my bed as soon as he heard my voice. "Ate! Good morning!" He kissed my cheeks.
"Good morning, baby. Saan kayo pupunta ni Papa?" I asked, smiling widely at him.
He showed his most exciting smile. "Papa allowed me to swim! We're going to swim, Ate. Are you going with us?"
Nakatayo pa din si Papa sa pinto, looking at us. "Gusto mo bang sumama, anak? D'yan lang naman kami sa swimming pool ng village natin."
Wala pa kasi kaming swimming pool. Our house has a space for it kaso lang ay hihintayin pa daw na lumaki si Hunter dahil delikado ang may pool sa bahay at may bata.
Meanwhile, may exclusive pool naman ang village namin. Kaunti lang ang nagsswimming dahil exclusive sa mga residents pero karamihan sa mga bahay dito sa loob ng village ay may pool na.
"Sure, 'Pa. Susunod na lang po ako." Sagot ko.
Papa called Hunter para umalis na sila. My little brother clinged to my father once again. He's such a baby.
"Bumaba ka na para kumain. Take your vitamins afterwards." He reminded me.
Napangiti na lang ako. He's really concerned about his grandchild.
"Opo, Papa." I answered.
Umalis na sila and I even heard my brother screaming because of his excitement.
I grabbed my phone on my bedside table. I saw a text message from my Kade. Sino ba naman ang hindi kikiligin?
