Jill's POV

I woke up in an actually good mood for once. I swear. It's like all the weight was lifted off my shoulders. I didn't really have anything to worry about. Hayes and I are dating. We're happy. I'm do online school. Rachel and my parents are happy. Drama is out of my life.. For now at least. Everything is going smooth.

Then I remember.. Shawn wanted to talk to me today. Crap. I check my phone to see the time and I see I had one message. It's 10:13 right now and Shawn comes at 11. I'm good. I look at my message and open it. I immediately smile.

Hayes: Good morning, beautiful. I went to go pick us up some breakfast from McDonald's. (: Be back soon, princess. xx

Another smile appears across my face. I look at the time when he sent that. 9:52. He should be back soon. I hop out of bed and throw on a hoodie. Then, I reply back to Hayes.

Me: Good morning((: Thank you for making my day already.

He responds back right away.

Hayes: Seeing you makes my day. Now come open the front door. xx

I smile and hop out of bed and run down the stairs, opening up the front door.

Hayes walks in and plants a kiss on my lips.

"Hello," he says, grinning.

"Hi," I reply back, smiling.

We walk into the kitchen and I pull out some plates.

"When do you leave for football?" I ask.

"Right after we eat. I have to practice and run a couple of laps around the track."

"Won't you be tired from all of that before you game?" I ask him.

He come over and puts his arms around me waist and brings me closer.

"I'm a football player, babe. It's okay." He says, whispering.

"Oh okay. I just don't want you to get hurt." I say, softly.

"If I ever get hurt, I will think of you and all the pain will go away."

"I love you," I say.

"I love you too, princess. Now let's eat!" He says, letting go of my waist.

But I didn't want him to let go. I felt so secure. So protective. I wanted him to hold me forever.

I sit down by him at the table as I take a bite out of my pancakes.

"My mom, dad, and Sky are coming back today. Before my game. So you can ride with them. But you'll be home by yourself for awhile. Is that okay?" Hayes asks.

"That's okay. Shawn needs to tell me something.. I don't know." I say.

"Okay," Hayes says, smiling and continuing to eat.

I do the same thing as we eat in silence, looking at each other's features.

"You're beautiful," Hayes says, breaking the silence.

"Thank you. But I'm not." I say.

"Everything about you is beautiful. And don't believe for a second that isn't true because you're beyond amazing and unique. I am so glad you are mine." Hayes says.

"Thank you," I say, while my cheeks turn a bright red.

"I hope you know when I'm with you, the world stops and it's just me and you. I don't care if people are around us. If I make eye contact with you, I will get lost and I won't find myself back. I truly do love you, Jill." Hayes says, looking me in the eyes.
