Jill's POV

I'm terrified that you were it. That we were it and I fucked it up, you fucked it up, we both fucked it up so bad. I'm sitting here crying because I miss you. You are in the same house as I am and I'm missing you. I see your face and it sends shockwaves through my body. I know you still think of me so don't you are deny it. I don't know how it is still possible that it's been 2 weeks and I still feel the same. Destroyed.

- FaceTime Call -

JM: Jill's mom / JD: Jill's dad / J: Jill

I for once seen their face. It's been what 4 months? They look so happy.. But this is ridiculous.

J: "Oh now you decide to call?! Don't answer my calls or texts but now you call?!?"

JM: "Honey, were s-"

J: "Everybody is sorry these days! I'm tired of hearing the word sorry when they don't actually mean it! God dammit I'm tired of hearing it."

JD: "Jill Watts don't cuss."

I roll my eyes.

JM: "Are you crying?"

J: "Yeah I'm crying."

JM: "Why?"

J: "Maybe I cry because I don't feel like myself. Nothing feels right anymore. Or maybe I'm just crying because I'm not happy."

JD: "What do you mean? Do we need to come down there?"

J: "Don't you just get I'm not happy? There is nothing you can do to fix it! I don't want you coming here because nothing that you do will fix it!"

JM: "Because only Hayes can fix it."

J: "Mom, Hayes can fix it, But he is also the reason why I'm not happy."

JD: "Wait, what!?"

J: "Can I talk to you guys later, please?"

JM: "Promise?"

J: "Promise."

- End of FaceTime -

I wipe my tears and put on make up to make me look presentable.

I walk down stairs and I see Hayes, Sky, and Samantha on the couch..

Hayes' arm was around Samantha's waist and Samantha had her head on his chest. Sky was just playing on the Ipad.

"Oh hey, Jill." Samantha says, sending me a fake smile.

I ignore her as I see Hayes' eyes burning through me.

"Where's Elizabeth and Chad?" I ask him.

"Elizabeth is at work and Chad is out doing business stuff. It's only you, me, Samantha, and Sky." Hayes says.

"K," I say simply, sitting on the couch.

"Have you been crying?" Hayes asks.

"If I did, why would you care?" I say, snapping.

Hayes does nothing but look down.

"Who cares is she's crying?" Samantha says.

"Sky, go to your room. I'll be up there in a few minutes to play with you." I say.

"Ok!" She says, running upstairs, completely oblivious to what's going on.

I turn to face Samantha and Hayes.

"I actually don't care if Hayes is in the room right now. Samantha, this is not a pass aggressive letter because you've already won. I want you to treat him well. I want you to pay attention to him because he needs it and deserves it. I want you to have lots of patience because sadly, he doesn't. He holds a firey rage inside him that will burn your soul and everybody around him. Be there for him when his impulsive actions backfire and support him if you don't. Hold his hand even if they're tucked inside his pockets and know that he laughs when he cries. He wears cheap cologne and expects you to love it. Tell him you love it, for me. When you smile before you're about to kiss, you will smell the cologne and just remember it's him and I fused together. Run your hands through his soft hair and remember that my fingers were there too so don't make yourself feel too at home because the next girl will do the same. He'll yell at you. He'll call you all sorts of names, he'll spit poison down your throat and expect you to be okay afterwards. He'll scold you and tease you but he means well. He's gentle but reckless when it comes to relationships. And we all know that's true. He'll call you a rose but then pick petals off of tulips and call sunflowers his favorite. But most importantly, don't lie to him. I know you, Samantha. Don't tell him that you love him when you don't know what love is."
