Today is Monday.  It's also the official first day of fall. I look around and see leaves twirling in the wind. I'm walking home from school. In math Damen passed me a note saying he wanted to see me again after school. I saw him yesterday and if it wasn't for the fact that I had no friends and my family sucked, I wouldn't be seeing him this much. I'm glad, though, because I need to talk to him about what he knows about me and my scars. Damen said that he'd pick me up at my place, so I gave him my address.
When I got home I saw a jeep in my driveway. When I walked over I saw Damen step out. "I was wondering when you would get here,"
"Well you could have offered to drive me instead of having me walk,"
Instead of answering he walked over to the other side of his jeep and opened the door. "Get in,"
"Are you going to kidnap me?"
"No,"
"Why should I trust you?"
He looked at me. "Have I given you a reason not to trust me?"
"No," I climbed in the passenger seat of his jeep. He walked around to the other side and hopped inside. He started the car. "Where are we going?"
"To my house," Damen drove the jeep fast. He didn't even stop at most of the stop signs. "Why are you driving so fast?"
"So it takes less time to get places,"
We turned off all the streets I'm used to and he started driving onto a path into a forest I never even really payed attention to.  If he wasn't driving like a maniac, we would probably be almost be half an hour into this forest.
Even though I was joking about the kidnaping part, I began to get nervous. "Um where are you taking me?"
"I already told you."
Even if I wanted to run away it would probably take forever to get back to civilization on foot. But then we reached a house. More like mansion, "is this your house?"
"Yep," Damen parked the car and opened the door for me. I was still gawking at the beautiful mansion before me as Damen grabbed my hand and started pulling me towards it.
Inside it was even more remarkable than I thought. The dark marble floors looked so clean you could eat off of them. There looked like there were huge windows but they were mostly blocked by expensive looking curtains.
Damen lead me through the hall way and into the kitchen. "What would you like to drink?"
"What do you have?"
"Name something and I'll see if we have it,"
"Orange crush?"
"Yep," Damen acted like he had everything in his fridge as he pulled out a two cans of pop. He passed me the orange crush and opened some root beer for himself.
"Damen! Are you home?" I heard a girl voice. I wasn't sure which direction she was since her voice seemed to echo off the huge walls. "Oh, that's my sister. Be right back," Damen dashed off and I just sat there looking around at the room I was in.
Soon after I heard footsteps and Damen came back. He came from a different door but I I guess there must be ways that connected all these rooms. He smirked at me. "Hey," something seemed off about him. Before I could make a comment, though, he scooped me into his arms and kissed me. Damen hasn't kissed me before. I leaned into him and realized that he smelled different. His hoodie didn't have the same smell it usually did.
"What the frig are you doing, Derek?" I pulled away from Damen to see he had an evil grin on his face. He was looking behind me and when I turned around I saw another Damen. I stumbled away from the Damen that just kissed me and stood in the middle of the clones. Am I insane? The Damen that just walked in came over to me and put his arm around me. "Hana, this is my twin brother, Derek,"
Omg. I just kissed the wrong Damen. Well, he kissed me. Awkward.
"I see that Damen never mentioned me before. He was probably scared that you would choose me over him, because I'm way more awesome and hotter than he is, and as you now now, a better kisser than him. Unless, he hasn't even kissed you yet, then that's just sad," I now felt so stupid. How could I mistake this guy for Damen? I thought. "Come on, Hana, I'll show you my room." Damen looked pretty pissed off as he walked up the stairs mumbling to himself. I followed him.

When we were up stairs, a girl came running over to me. "Hi! I'm Angelica, but everyone calls me Angie. Im Damen and Derek's sister," instead of a hand shake, this girl came up and hugged me. I awkwardly hugged back. "Hi, I'm Hana."
Angie looked about 15. She had redish brown hair, reminding me of some of the fall leaves outside. Her eyes were a bright green instead of blue. Like everyone else in her family, Angie had on a hoodie.  But unlike her brothers, hers was pink with a cat face on it. It looked like the type that would have cat ears on the hood too. "I like your hoodie," I commented.  "Damen! Your girlfriend seems so nice! Unlike all of Derek's many girlfriends, they're all like rude and stuff."
She called me Damens girlfriend. We aren't that far in a relationship yet, but i really liked the idea. I liked Angie too. She seemed like a nice girl. "I like your necklace!" Angie  reached out to touch my locket and yanked her hand back "ouch! That's hot," when I touched it though, it seemed fine. "Okay, me and Hana are going to go to my room now," still wondering what happened with my necklace, I walked into a room win Damen. His walls were black. And he didn't have much in his room. He did have a desk though, and on it was a Mac book Air. Lucky, I thought.
"Can I talk to you?" when I looked at Damen I could tell he was serious. "Yeah,"
"This is important,"
"Okay,"
"I know what your scars were from. And you didn't always have them, because your back once looked sort of like this," before I could ask him what the heck he meant, he took off his hoodie and his t-shirt underneath to reveal two amazing pure black feathery wings.
