~Damen~
I arrive at Hana's house and wait for her to come outside. I'm starting to regret telling her my idea. She would be better off, and safer, if she didn't come to the underworld with me. I hope everyone assumes she is just a mere human and no one notices anything unusual about her.
I don't even know where to start looking for my old friend who once knew an angel. What was his name again? I think it's Kirk. I haven't seen him for a few Decades, and I've had many friends since then. It's not like I keep friends. Kirk used to be my roommate though, until they found it suspicious that every day he would leave at the same time and eventually he was caught and tossed into the torture chamber. He could be dead for all I know, but the chamber, for Fallen angels and Demons and human spirits, it's meant to be infinite suffering. I just realized that means Hana will want to come to the Torture chamber with me, and that scene will scar her for life. The Underworld itself isn't all gory and bloody like humans assume it is, it's just very Dark."I'm ready," Hana came out. She looked nervous. "Are you sure you want to come? You don't have to,"
"No! I want to," she got in my jeep and I sped off.
"So where do we go to make the portal thing?"
"Well, there's a cave not far from my house, and that's where me and my siblings create portals back and forth,"
I just remembered that Hana will get weakened around so much darkness. "You have your necklace, right?"
"Yeah,why?"
"Well, you will feel drained when you enter the Underworld, and that necklace will give you strength. Keep it out of sight though, because if anyone sees it, they will freak. And for a heads up, there's a lot of bloodstone there, like I mean buildings are made from it and it's everywhere. So don't touch anything unless I say you can."
She tucked her necklace under her top. Under her jacket she was wearing a yellow t-shirt. I'll make a pit stop at my house to get one of Angie's darker tops. He jackets fine though. When we reached my house I walked inside with her behind me. "Angie!"
I called. Angie came over right away. "What?"
"Me and Hana are making a trip back home so can she use one of your tops to blend in?"
"What??" Angie stared at me. "Um isn't that like the most dangerous thing ever? What kind of idiot would bring an angel to hell?"
"I'm looking for answers," Hana replied even though Angie was talking to me. "Can I come?" Angie asked hopefully. Technically Angie could make her own portal and come whenever she wanted, but she isn't as powerful as me, so it takes a lot of energy for her to do it alone.
"No-" I started, but then got another idea. If Angie went too, then Hana could stay with her and none of them would have to sneak into the torture chamber with me! "Actually, fine, you can come."
Angie squealed and flew (literally) upstairs to get an outfit for Hana. Hana was fidgeting with her necklace, looking worried. "It's okay, I won't let anything bad happen to you," I put an arm around her.
Soon enough Angie was back with the clothes and Hana got changed. We left and made our way to the Cave.~Hana~
We got to the cave. It looked all vast and deep. When we walked in it was damp and you could hear water dripping from farther inside. "This looks good," Damen was in the lead and he stopped.
"So where are we going to go?" Angie asked Damen.
"Well I'll bring us to my Dorm room,"
"Dorm room?" I asked.
"Well we have a school that teaches us how to use Dark Magick, and our gifts,"
"Damen is so advanced he is on like level 13," Angie added.
"What are you on?"
"Two..." She replied.
"Okay, here it goes," Damen outstretched his hands and a small orb appeared, growing into what looked like swirling darkness leading into an abyss. "That looks creepy,"
"It leads you to hell what did you expect it to look Like?" Angie stepped closer to Damen. "Okay, you go first, Angie, and I'll lead Hana in after you," Angie stepped in and it looked like she was dematerializing into the swirl of darkness. I was starting to have second thoughts about this, but Damen grasped my hand and pulled me closer to him. Holding onto me, he stepped into the portal and I squeezed my eyes shut as we fell into the abyss. I gasped as I heard wind rushing around us and When I opened my eyes we were planted firmly on solid ground.
I felt dizzy. If Damen wasn't holding me up, I probably would have made a face plant. I held my necklace and it had a warm feeling to it and I felt it surge through me, strengthening me from the inside. I looked up and gasped. I expected to see humans bieng tormented and used as slaves, and to see satan sitting on a pile of bones or something. But what I saw surprised me. It was dark and murky, but there wasn't any blood. I front of us was a building that looked sort of like a dark castle from medieval times. There were other buildings around it, and they all seemed to have red specks in it. The moonlight shimmered, leaving a touch of light. Im freezing. "Okay, let's go into the dorm," Damen headed over to one of the smaller buildings. "That's our school," Angie informed me, pointing to the large castle like building. I tucked my necklace up inside the shirt I'm wearing. Damen turned around. "Try not to make any eye contact. And look miserable," I did what he asked and he grabbed my hand and roughly dragged me into the dorm, with Angie following close behind me.
Inside, the floor were black marble tiles. That's all I was looking at since Damen told me to look down. It seemed more unlit in this building, and I felt even more weak. Someone walked over to us.
"What issssss that?" Someone with a lisp asked.
"A human I thoughtlooked tasty, and decided to bring to my room," Damen replied.
"Tassssty for a ssssnack or issss she for your enjoyment?" The creature chuckled. I glanced up and saw that it looked like a human except it's eyes were solid black. With No pupil or anything. I quickly looked away.
"I havent decided yet, maybe both." Damen was good at acting as he spoke.
"Well, I hope you have fun," the creature left. As we walked there were other people/creatures that looked at me. I decided that they looked like demons. Another demon stopped to talk to Damen. "I haven't sssseen many humanssss come down here that look sssso attractive,"
"Yep, she's a treat,"
The demon walked infront of me. I was looking down but the creature put a finger under my chin and lifted my head up. It's cold touch sent a chill down my spine. Forced to meet his gaze, I looked at the demons pitch black eyes. "Do you mind ssharing, Damen?"
"I Found her, she's mine. Get your own human."
"Oh, but you know how I hate wearing thosssse eye contactsss and going to earth,"
The demon trailed his finger down to my neck. "Do not touch my things, or you will be sorry,"
"You are sssso possssessssive," the demon walked away and we were alone.
Finally we got to a door and walked inside. Once Damen had the door locked, he let go of my hands and hugged me. "I do not want to do that again,"
I looked down and saw My wrists were a little pink. "Sorry about that," Damen saw me looking. "Were those demons?"
"Yeah, not many pretty human girls are brought down here. They tend to get exited easily,"
"Pfft." Angie walked over and sat down on a chair. I looked around and saw that his room was all black, like his room back at earth. Without as much strength as usual, I sat down on the couch and leaned back. "Okay, you girls stay here. I'll be back," Damen planted a quick kiss on my forehead and left.
"I wanted to help him," Angie commented.
"What's he doing?"
"Sneaking into the torture chamber to find some guy who can help him-without us."
"What? I wanted to come!"
"Same,"
Well I guess Damen didn't want us to get hurt, but I didn't want to be stuck here while Damen apparently was sneaking into a torture chamber! I got up and looked around the room. I saw a collection of blades. Most of them looked like they were made from bloodstone. I looked over at one of the knives and gasped.I was caught
The next thing I knew someone was pulling out a knife and I was falling....
Falling"What is it?" Angie came running over to where I was standing Frozen infront of the knife. "What is this?"
"Oh Damen likes to collect blades,"
"No, I mean I saw this one. In my memory. Its the same one that was used to remove my wings."
"Oh,"
We awkwardly just stood there staring at it until she finally said, "so are we going to stand around like couch potatoes or are we going to help Damen?"
"Do you know where to go?"
"Yeah. The chamber will be a long walk on foot though."
"oh,"
Angie looked like she was thinking. "I can make a portal there,"
"Can you do that?"
"Of course I can!"
Angie did similar to what Damen had done before and made a portal right in the middle of the room. It was smaller than Damens but still worked. Me and Angie stepped through and I was dizzy like the first time, and without Damen, I almost fell over. Angie did fall over. "Oh are you okay?" I bent down to look at her. "I'm fine, just give me a minute," we sat there for a little bit until she stood up.
"Well, here it is, the torture chamber. Where those who do bad are tormented eternally."
