~Hana~

It's an hour before sunrise and Damen is driving me to Alk Pond. Knowing that Damen killed the guy who cut off my wings made me wonder how bad he was that he became a fallen angel. I felt so much safer knowing that. I just can't believe that he never told me! It's not like it's his fault my wings were cut off.
As we made some twists and turns on the road, I wasn't sure if we were going the right way. What if we get lost?
"Stop worrying,"
"I thought you said you couldn't read my mind,"
It doesn't take a mind reader to see what's on your face. You look nervous."
"Oh,"
I tilted my head up at the dark sky starting to get lighter. I looked around and noticed a sign at the side of the road. "Stop!"
Damen slammed on the brakes, sending me lurching forward. "What?"
"I saw something,"
Getting out of the car, I walked over to the sign. It looked old. Alk Pond. "Well I guess no one has come here for a while," I commented.
"Well let's go," Damen started walking into the forest. I could barely make out the path, it looked like it hasn't been used in years. Damen seemed to know where he was going, so I followed him. Soon enough, we reached the lake. It looked beautiful, the water was clear, and I could hear the sound of crickets chirping and toads croaking.
"Do you see her?" He whispered. "No," I was just about to give up when I saw a slim figure at the corner of my eye.
There on the other side of the lake was a woman sitting againsed a rock, gazing up at the sky. "Oh, there she is!" I pointed to where I saw her. I looked over to see what she was looking at and saw it. The most amazing sunrise I have ever seen. I was staring in awe until Damen grabbed my hand. "Hurry! She's leaving!"
I looked over and saw her walking. "Wait!" I called to her. She looked over at us and started running. We ran after her. "Dina! Stop! We need your help!"
She stopped. As we caught up to her, she asked, "how do you know my name?"
"I was Kirks friend. You can trust me," Damen smiled at her. She was very pretty. She had light brown hair, and it was short. her green eyes were so bright.
"Oh, is Kirk okay? I've come every day, but I no longer see him,"
"He was caught. And punished. But he's alive. And we need your help,"
"With what?"
"You wield light Magick, right?"
"I don't know if I can trust you, what do you know?"
"Well, I know that you are an angel. I'm a fallen one, like Kirk. And see her? That's Hana. She used to be an angel but her wings were removed. I need you to help her get back to heaven,"
"Oh my goodness," Dina took a deep breath. "How do I know that your not just making this up for me to make a portal?"
Damen turned to look at me. "Show her," he said.
I lifted the back of my shirt revealing my scars. "I need to find my parents, and I need answers,"
She looked back at my face and studied me. "Lena? Is that you?"
"Um, I don't know my angel name, so possibly?"
"Okay, I can make the portal. But your fallen friend can not join us," she looked over at Damen. "No. I go where Hana goes. I need to protect her,"
"If you go then you will get both of yourselves killed."
I wanted Damen to stay with me, but I needed answers more. "I'll be okay, Damen. I'll be back soon,"
Damen looked like he didn't want me to leave. Dina walked over and started to make the portal. "Now or never, dear,"
I gave Damen a quick kiss on the cheek and then went over to Dina and the portal. This was completely different than the portal to the underworld. It was white and sparkling. Dina took my hand and together we stepped into the portal. I'm going home.

The light engulfed me in a swirl of warmth and joy. When I opened my eyes, I saw soft green grass, trees, life, and I saw a gate. It was the Gateway to heaven. It was golden and shining. I looked over at Dina and saw that she had her wings exposed. The were pure white. She headed over to the entrance where an angel stood. "Who is that?" He asked. "This is a friend. I would like to bring her inside."
"I'm sorry, Dina, but you know we can't just allow anyone to enter. Is she a spirit? Or human? I assume that you certainly would not bring one of the Fallen to our dimension."
I decided to stay quiet and let Dina do the talking. Plus, I was too busy admiring our surroundings.
"Well, she is unique. She apparently used to be an angel, until her wings were removed. She has the scars to prove it. And I suspect this is Lena,"
"You should not make assumptions when it comes to Magdalena! She has been missing for 13 years now, and her parents are still in mourning. Don't get thier hopes up for nothing!"
I realized then that there was proof. "Um excuse me, but did this Lena have a necklace?"
The angel guard (which is what I'm referring him to) looked at me. "Yes, she did."
"Did it look like this?" I pulled out my necklace and he gasped. "I apologize for bieng inconvenient to you, you may enter. Dina, alert everyone that Magdalena has returned!"  The gaurdian smiled and opened the gate for us. Whoever Magdalena was, she must be important.
As we walked through the gates, I saw angels. A lot at angels. And they were all working in harmony and in peace. They were talking to each other as they flew by, but what caught my attention was a castle. It looked like it was the opposite of the one I saw in the underworld. It seemed way bigger though. I doubt that this is a school. Dina lead me over to the building. "Come,"  I followed her as we reached the doors. Another angel guard was there. "We must get to Evangeline! Her daughter has returned," the guard looked shocked at first, then when he looked at me, he opened the doors. Dina flew in and I had to jog to keep up with her. "I need Evangelene!" A few angels looked over at her. "She's at a council meeting."  Someone told her. Dina changed direction and headed into an elevator. "Quick fact-your mom is part of the high council. She's very important."
Okay, so I'm not just an angel, I'm the daughter of a very important person. Dina headed over to a door and burst in.
"What is the meaning of this! A high council meeting is never to be interuppted! Unless there is an attack?" A strong voice asked.
I walked in after Dina and looked around. 4 Angels were staring at us. One woman stood up. she had platnium blond hair and blue eyes like me. "Lena?" She whispered. What that my mom? I think that's the woman Evangelene that Dina was talking about. I took my necklace off and headed towards her. I handed her my necklace. The woman was blinking hard trying to avoid tears from shedding. "Is it you?"
"Yeah, I think it is, Evangelene,"
She hugged me and wrapped her wings around me. "You can call me mom,"
She let go of me and turned to the other angels watching us.
"Rejoice everyone! Magdalena has returned!" The Angels flew out, and I could hear yells across the building. "Magdalena has returned!"
