I had gone to check on Adaya see if she had made any progress, there was none. It's been over a week now and she's still asleep, so I called everyone that could even almost give us some insight to Adayas coma.
We all stood in the war room listening to people telling us that she would never wake, or that her brain has lost the ability to function. A few said that she had had a traumatic experience, that she only needs time to heal. But the only one we could do anything about came from a child, the soul painter, Danielle.
"Artunous said the demon they powdered her fed off of emotions, and memories. I think either the demon took her memory of how to wake, or took her will to keep going, either one can be fixed by entering her dreams and speaking with her. I think I know a way, my parents died but I have my fathers book on the beyond, the place we go when we dream, I'll bet there's something in there to tell us how to get in her mind, then we can convince her to come back."
Most in the room just brushed her off, but Artunous, Helena, Yennefer, and I believed her. I ordered everyone else out of the room leaving only the girl and us.
"Do you truly believe that's it?" Helena was the one who spoke all our question.
"Yes, I believe it is, Helena, you know what I do, I know this is what's wrong. I've seen into her soul before, it's an untrusting , confused, saddened, and loving soul. It could be broken, so do not lay that aside, but most likely she just has no memory of needing to wake, or she believes she is awake and needs to be told otherwise. Please, allow me to get the book, if we cannot find how to get to her, I will apologise but there's not much else I can give you."
"Sweet child, we will expect no apologies, you have given us the most hope in retrieving our friend. That is enough for our thanks, go get this book and we will take a look." Yennefer had Helena lead her out the door to retrieve the book.

I walked with Danielle towards her caravan, she didn't like the way the houses felt so she just picked an empty spot and set up her parents caravan.
" So when did you look into Adaya?"
"I was at her house Playing with Liya and some other friends and she was watching us so I took a look."
"Danielle, you know your supposed to ask first, people get a little freaked out when just know things about them."
"I know, but some people I can't stop myself from looking. It's like if I don't, then something will happen to them."
I didn't respond to that one, I mean if she thinks it would save someone then what reason could you really give for her not to do so?
We arrived at her caravan, it was covered in murals making what I had come to know as just an old wagon with a bed and supplies into a stunning sculpture bringing any number of emotions to any who state at it. I had seen hers before, but it did not have so many murals then.
"You've been busy I see."
"Yea, before we were attacked the first time, I couldn't control it, I didn't even look into their eyes, I just seen them all. I don't know who they are because I didn't see the names, but I did see origins and had to copy it down anyway."
We approached the sculpture and she went to the book shelf, they were covered by a sliding wooden door to keep them from the wear and tear the weather could so easily do to the pages. She searched a moment then pulled a fairly large book covered in strips of leather and some kind of rock.
"This is it, let's get it to them." She ran off and so I followed.

We sat silent while Danielle ran off for the book, it had only been a few minutes when her and Helena burst through the door, out of breath she handed me the book the sat down to catch her breath.
I opened the book, and began reading, it was an ancient Rome from when I lived in the Dales, it's a book written by the soul artist Tarshis, he had decided that murals were not the only thing you could do with soul, he wanted to be able to make it so all could see a soul. Like a moving mural. He reasearched for years then went missing all of a sudden, I had spoken with him though, I was letting him use my own soul for research into the matter, he wrote all his findings in this book. But I cannot read it, a soul artist sees words differently than the rest of us, you have to have a soul artist to read the writing of another soul artist.
"Danielle, when your done catching your breath I need you to read this, it's not in a language I recognise."
She stood and took the book. "really? Cause it's the only one I can read." She sat and opened the book. We sat and waited for a solution.
END OF BOOK ONE Please keep reading
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Terrible I know. I have been trying to find a good ending that wasn't action filled yet was still interesting. This was the conclusion. I will be writing a book two, obviously it will have new characters, and I will be selecting a new main character in it as well. If you don't like the ending or don't plan to read the next book, that's ok because I will be writing an alternate ending that has a finality to it for you.
I really hope you liked this book and do hope you read the next one, it will be called Garthalan, Secrets of the Soul. Sounds awesome right? Anyway I will start it when I get the time.
Thank you all for sticking with me I will be editing this story from the beginning, and my next book will be edited as I write it. Thank you for your votes, comments and support.
should I leave Yennefer and Artunous together for the next book?
