Adaya pov
The creature had pushed me into the back of my own mind, time was not something that took place here. What feels like years could be seconds, what feels Like seconds could very well be years. So I have no idea how long the creature has had control of my body but now it pays me a visit.
I have my own world here, my sister, Garen, Duncan, Laila, Helena, all the people I had met and become friends with. They were here, but not actually Here, my opinion of them was here.
Liya my sweet, innocent lifeline who still needs protection from the world.
Garen when he's near its hard to think straight my growing love for him feels off, it is not something I had planned.
Helena my hotheaded friend who thinks no plan could possibly work without a good trap to surprise the opponent.
Laila my sweet friend who just wants to teach others what she believes all should know.
Duncan the man who would, and did, give everything for what he thinks is right.
Gretha I'm not sure if I would call him friend I always see two faces on the man, one wants to help while the other can't help but to trick others.
Yennefer I would call her friend, but she is more of a father, She rarely shows emotion and is always trying to protect others, me mostly.
Haren rarely seen, but a very good man when he's around, most likely to be a politician when the wars over.
Sasha never seen her awake, but seeing the way Helena reacted I imagine a great hunter as well as talker.
Danielle the most talented artist I have ever laid eyes on, can see strait into your soul with those silvery eyes.
Then there's the creature. It's black tentacles weaving behind them all. It lifts into view. It face, it has no characteristics. What you would think if Somone told you think of an ordinary man. It was attached to the tentacles, all coming to the center to makes a wriggling mass of a body.
Who are you? My question echoed around as though we were in a cave.
Call me dak. Tell me, who is this one? He walked in front of Helena.
Your in my head right along with me. Can you not see all my thoughts as well, you handled my swords just like I would. A slight grin came to his face.
Yes, I can. Just thought you'd Like some conversation beens you'll never see another person again. You will go mad back here, this way when I realease you. You'll be too gone for anyone to save. He moved in front of Haren. This one's dead. He moved to Laila. This one is as well. Thought I was you. Even after the death of this one. He was in front of Garen. I could feel the heart in my body sink low.
Get out. Get out! GET OUT NOW! The world I made shattered sucking An extremely tickled creature with it. It was all black here again black, cold, and lonely. Garen? Laila? Haren? What is Helena doing now? The creature must be lying, he knows my feelings, he is trying to drive me insane with the thoughts. I could feel again a ghost of my hands gripping the short swords. Lunging them into things, people... Friends.
Artunouse pov
"No matter who comes, if it is not me do not let them near this cell. No matter what the girl tells you, do not listen."
I walked away from the unconscious possessed girl leaving five guards to ensure she did not escape before I had the chance to remove the bracelet. As soon as I had the outpost prison hidden again I ran back towards the battlefield, if I am to get the bracelet off I need one of the mages who bound the demon to it. Should be easier beens she's not on their side either.
Helena pov
The bodies of the last of my family still lay on the field where I had left them, I wanted the bastards who had turned my friend into a monster. I left the battlefield and found my way inside. I was right next to the gate controls, five slaves worked the controls. I moved up to the pathetic excuses of people, their skin was ghost white from lack of sunlight, their ribs stuck out like they were fingers from malnutrition.
The things these people do in the dark where no one can see. It's monstrous. I ran forward and broke the chains, they may not survive anyway but they could at least make it outside to die. Flicked the lock and tried to lift the gate but it was too heavy. Pale hands joined me and without much more struggle the cranks moved. The gate was open.
"Our payment. For saving us m'lady." The slaves then ran out the door. I followed, on the streets our military were fighting the guards. I moved across rooves until I arrived at the castle.
As I pushed open the doors artounous appeared beside me. "I need one or the scholar mages alive. Stay your revenge until we have lady Adaya back."
