Danielle pov

Gretha had called us all together in the war room, we listened to a multitude of different suggestions all horrible, the best one we had heard was the thought that she would be in shock from the demon possession and needed time to heal.

Through it all I stayed seated, I could have had a way, but it wouldn't work, I have never seen the soul of Adaya. I should have looked when I got the sense she was in trouble that day I played at her house. I didn't because I'm not supposed to look into the souls of anyone I didn't ask first, and I was scared of what she'd have said had I asked.

A conclusion was reached after a few more hours. Helena stood to an ounce it. " We will wait five more weeks, if she has not shown any progress by then, we will put and end to her suffering."

I knew she would not wake so that night I went to see Liya. "Hey Danielle. Still no better." Her shoulders sagged, she knew Adaya was gone.

"I am leaving Liya, I want to explore the world and I want you and Xsander to come with me." I looked to see Liyas already packed bag on her bed.

"I got a feeling I should pack, I just didn't know what for. Lets go get Xsander."

And so we left, we traveled all over, the whole of Garthalan using Adaya as our guide, she semed to know everything about the wilderness, the animals never touched us, a jaguar still follows us but keeps a distance, it scared me at first but now I've grown used to it, we call him Shadow, because he follows us as though he were one.

Eventually the earth began to die, we were in a cave when a dragon attempted to kill shadow the fire filled the whole cave. I only made it out long enough to see Shadow lose the fight.

After the conclusion we all went home. The day after Liya, and two other children went missing. We spent the next few weeks searching the wood to find nothing.

The time has come though, as we said in the he war room, we must take away Adayas pain. I was the one chosen to do so. As I plunged the dagger into her chest, all around us we heard the cry of animals. Not long after the lands began to die, the trees did and fell, the dirt dried and cracked, the animals began to dissapear, the livestock sickened. No matter where we went. Dragons began moving from the mountains to find food, the monsters of the sea began sinking ships, the fairies became feral and began killing everything as they got sicker. They had all become pixies, only they did not even try to help. It seems that the world would be for the beasts of the water, and of the air when I, the last of any sentient beings died from starvation.

END OF STORY. END OF WORLD.
