Adaya pov

I laughed at a story told by one of the hunters. He continued. "oh but that is not the best part, once he finally got out there was this wretched stench." He leaned in and whispered. " it wasn't only mud in his clothes." My mouth fell open and I covered it with my Hand trying my best not to laugh.

" I don't think he would appreciate you telling me that part." I said through my hand still trying not to laugh.

"probably not, but  he's not here is he?" The man said with a wink.

My next words were cut off by Haren the man I assumed led the people. "Adaya. May I speak with you for a moment?"

"of course"

Liya still hadn't left my side as I followed after Haren. "You feel happy. We should see if they want to live with us."

I left her thoughts alone, my real hopes are that they allow us to travel with them.we stopped at a makeshift tent, I had not seen but one of the wagons my people had used and it was not in the best of shape. Haren motioned for us to enter, we did sitting around a small  table with what looked to be inventory listings.

Haren entered with another woman, I got this odd feeling from her, not a bad one, just odd. Haren spoke first. "This is my sister Laila, she is helping me in my new role as the clans keeper."

She had a soft voice with a hint of power rolled inside. "Alatshi, it is nice to meet you."

"A pleasure." I decided I would need to learn more about this woman.

Haren leaned against the table. "This fort you spoke of, do you think they would allow us to stay as well?"

Strait to buisness, a trait I wish everyone would pick up. "I see no reason why they wouldn't, there is plenty of room left, but I would like to ask their leader before I give you an sure answer." He nodded.

" May I send Laila with you? as a speaker for our clan."

"Of course. We will leave when your ready Laila."

Laila nodded then held the flap to the tent open. " Let us leave then. I will grab my pack on the way out."

We left the tent and headed for the lonely caravan, it was packed with people's things it seemed, Laila grabbed one and threw it over her shoulder. Then we headed towards the fort.
