The Scourge of the Dales

Three centuries ago, our high king Barthalon was murdered by an elven assasin named Yennefer, she was a wood elf and convinced the rest of her kin to protect her from the gaurd, this led to a war between the wood elves and every other nation in the thirteen kingdoms. The wood elves are skilled assasins with bow or knife and they dwelled in the woods of the dales making it a hard fought long and bloody war.

Eventually the wood elves had lost too many of their people and yennefer gave herself over to the authorities, but the wood elves did not stop there they became angry and began to openly attack the lands of alathomen killing all who came in there sights, but when the lands tried to intervene they were all killed before they could get the chance to fight due to the sneaky nature of the wood elves, this was a scourge that was thought to have no end in sight, the high elves became desprate and went to Yennefer they convinced her to train there children the ways of the wood elves so they could fight back, in return she would stay imprisoned rather than being exacuted.

This was a major turning point with the new soldiers the high elves had trained they were able to creat tactics to move against the elves and pushed them back to there own lands, to ensure this would never happen again the remaining twelve kingdoms agreed that the wood elves should be wiped out completely, and so the school that was meant to turn the tide of the war became the soldiers that hunted the wood elves, they became known as the order of majora, after the high elf who had taken credit for the training tactics.

by the third century they thought they had won, the high elves had become strong and highly revered in all that they do, while the wood elves were on the verge of complete extinction and scattered to the winds of the twelve kingdoms due to there forests being burned down and there land becoming unable to sustain life.

well thats an iteresting story right? although I heard history was written by the victor, but that story will come later, this is the story of Adaya a wood elf with whats is left of the race, although the elves live very long lives Adaya is a very young elf and does not know the real story of what happened to lead to the world she now lives in.
