Adaya pov

It had been two days and neither Gretha or Garen had woken up, but they were now stable so I could leave if I wanted, and I for sure wanted to. Sitting around the house all day is not in my category of fun or interesting, Liya was staying  with an older woman and her daughter a couple houses down they seemed like good people and I did not want her around while I had all this equipment out. I decided to leave her alone for now and headed towards the gates.

"Sorry las everyone is confined to the fort by the orders of warden Duncan." The overly built man stepped in my path through the gate.

I had two choices in my head lie or knock him in the head. I figured it'd be best not make enemies with a guard so I decided a lie would be my best course. "I need to collect some erbs."

"We are in the middle of an investigation las unless your on official business I cannot let you pass."

"I have two men who have not been awake for days now. I would like to make it less painful when they do, so if you won't let me pass then go watch them for me because I do not want to hear them screaming when they do."

The man got a little confused for a moment I could see him trying to think of what to say. "i'm sorry las what was your name?"

"I didn't, but it's Adaya."

"So your the wood elf eh. Sorry for stopping you las if you'll forgive me." He bowed his head and stepped aside ordering the gate unbarred.

"you may leave las don't be out too long please, we do have enemies as you know already."

That was odd but I didn't pay too much attention to it, I was ready for some freedom. I walked out and strait past all the old weather worn buildings straight to the forests. I walked admiring nature until I came to a cave. It had defenses set around it, and I cold hear some kind of noise coming out as well. I suppose I could do with an adventure, I entered.

_sorry y'all my computer broke now I have to type it all on my phone so it will be a lot slower going from here on out, I want to thank everyone who has read and voted for my story so far.
