Garen pov

"No, I don't beleive we will convince her without his help, shes not really the trusting sort of woman, Im going to go and speak to the commander now, but I need you to get the horses ready, even if he wont come I want to check on her anyway." Sir Duncan took his leave and walked out the doors of the pub, I finished my gin and began to make my way to the castle where the commander stayed.

I stopped bye a vendor deciding to get a Necklace for the girl in hopes that she would come to trust us more if we offered gifts. "The price seems a little steep for such a simple peice." I said as I held up the one I wanted. it was overpriced even though I would buy it anyway.

"Nay lad that peice of jewlry came from the Dales it is said that if you give it to the family line in which it is meant for, the power they hold will be realeased and they will be powerful enough to take on even Helthag himself." I looked at him with a raised eybrow. "Though what do I know, Im just a merchant and thats the story that matches the peice."

"Does all your jewlery have a story behind it?" I asked picking up a set of earings made of platinum with a blue tint diamond in the center.

"Aye they do, that peice your holding there belonged to the high kings wife, Luisa."

"Well I may not beleive the story, but I do know someone who should like to have the necklace. but beens Im paying so much do you have the story of it on you by chance?"

"Aye of course." He put the necklace in a box and handed me a thick book to go with it, I have to admit I was expecting a simple peice of paper.

I paid for the peice resumed my walk towards the castle, once I got there I headed strait for the room the commander was staying in, he did not want thinking of him as the king so he picked the most defendable room which as it turns out is the old servants quarters.

"Commander Gretha." I stood with my hand to my chest, in salute. He did the same, although I know he does not like the formalities I keep him persuaded to do it , this helps the new recruits learn to respect the higher ranks.

"Garen, it is good you are here, I could use some help fixing a hole in the roof. he busied himself gathering tools and climbed a later to a large gaping hole in the roof, it looked as though Gretha had put a spell to it.

"What'd you do here Sir?" He was quickly nailing up a board I had handed him, then moving on to the next.

"Oh an assasin from the order paid me a visit, as you can see I escorted him out though." He never was one to call for help unless absoutlely neccasary, but he would ussualy tell someone of it when it was over.

"Sir you need to let us post gaurds outside your door at night, If we lose you then we lose the whole operation you see now." He gave a soft chuckle.

"Garen, my freind, you'r concern is appriciated but, I can take care of myself, Besides if my gaurds had done the man in then how would I keep my own skills up to par?" he climbed through the hole and began to lay down more shingles. a few minutes later he came through the window, "Now then I'm sure you came here for a reason other than to bicker about an event you had no knowledge of, yes?"

"Yes sir, That girl I told you of, the wood elf." His smile dropped just a little, Im sure he still was not sure how he felt of them.

"yes I remember you said she got the best of you, more than once." Not somthing I'll live down untill he meets the girl.

"Yes sir, I would like you to accompany me and the Warden, Duncan back to her home, I am hoping that you may be able to convince her to come to the safety of the fort." Hopefully his trustful aura will convince her is a little closer to the truth, I'm not sure that any mans wits alone could convince her otherwise.
