Adaya pov
Again without being seen I had snuck in grabbed the formula and instructions on how to make more and snuck out without notice, though most of the men there had settled down on there search and were readying themselves to leave. I had gotten back to my sister and fed her, then I found a cave to stay in.
It had been five years since I had lost my family now and though I was angry about their deaths I was not ready to fight them, I had seen enough death as it was and my sister had needed constant care and attention even now that she was five she still needed me with her, so I waited, I tried not to mope around too much for Liyas sake, I knew I had it bad losing my parents but i did still know them, Liya would never get that chance, she hadnt even said her first words when they were taken so she has no memories of them, which is good for now but I know that when she gets older, it will maker her bitter. I could not build up the confidence to go live in a town for fear of being discovered as a wood elf which I learned was why they had died, not because of what we had done but because of what we are.
Liya was the only company I had here but that was just enough to keep me from going crazy, even if I could not have a real convorsation with her it was nice to feel that someone was listening to me, I had gone back and gotten all the reading materials and supplies that I could salvage, it was hard walking among all the bodies seeing my freinds and family was not my quietest moments but it didnt matter, all the soldiers had long gone and forgotten this place. I buried them all which kept me in shape, tired but in shape, I took bits and peices of the caravans and built onto our cave making it more of a home, though I wouldve liked to build a wagon I did'nt know how to, staying in one place eats away at me constantly.
"Addy, can we go get more velenberries? pleassse" I was torn from my thoughts by that sweet voice of hers and I smiled at her and lay down the wood I was trying to sculpt.
"Of course we can, go get your boots we'll go." Liya ran to the back of the cave and threw her boots on as fast as she could, mother used to make cookies with velenberries and I wanted Liya to have somthing to remember her by so, I found the recipe, now she is hooked on them.
We walked along a bush looking for as many as we could handle, when I heard a horse coming along the old trail we were next to. I grabbed liya and we hid behind a tree, I drew my dagger and peaked around the corner and seen a man, not just any man but the one that had saved me, I was not sure what to do. "Liya, go hide behind that log, If this man seems off to you then run back home , ok."
she nodded and got behind the log. then I stepped out on the road. the mans hand went to his sword and he began to look around being very cautious of his suroundings suddenly, high elves, they get distracted so easily. finally he seemed to relax and loosened his grip on the sword. "m'lady what are you doing out here, these are dangerous hills filled with dangerous creatures."
I was a bit too embaressed to actually speak to him, he didnt remember me, and I had lived alone with my sister for years, so I just stood there and silently stared at him like an idiot. say somthing Adaya, prefrebly before he decides your a crazy lady." er...I....was just....." the words were lost there I just could'nt say anymore.

The woman in front of me seemed so familiar I just could'nt place who she was, when I asked what she was doing her she just studdered a few words I did'nt actually hear then shut her mouth and her gaze shot to the ground, I tried not to laugh and stepped off my horse, though I wish I had'nt as soon as my feet hit the ground I seen her ears as she pushed her hair behind one, she was a wood elf, even though he had abandoned the order along with his commander and a few others he still wasn't sure how he felt about the wood elves, he had grown up hating them then they saved his life and he became unstable in the fact,
now he stood in front of one staring at her ears, she had noticed too because she quickly pushed her hair forward and took off into the woods, I was just too curious and I followed her to a small shack built against a wall of rocks I cautiously walked up and knocked on the makeshift door, I heard a gasp and she told someone to hide, I pushed the door open a little faster than I had intended and an arrow buried itself in my hand,at first I just stared at it, then I realised I had actually been shot in the hand and the pain set in.

when he opened the door his hand was in the way so I missed his heart I readied another arrow and seen that he was not holding his weapon, he began to scream and yanked the arrow out of his hand, "By the wolf, woman why are you tryin to shoot me!" he was now beside the door peaking around to see if I was coming his way, then another bout of screaming came, "seriously, the Gods really want me dead today. jukette a snake has bit me!"
he stumbled a bit and fell to the ground, and again like an idiot I just stood there staring at him, "Addy? are we gonna help him?" I just shook my head and a few seconds later I ran to his side and picked him up, not steadily this man was heavy.
"Liya stay with him Im going to catch that snake." I got outside and grabbed it it was a diamond back, not the best thing to get bitten by, but out here, it surely was not the worst. I coaxed out some venom and began to mix some things in creating a syrim that would help him out a bit, I walked over and with my makeshift needle I injected him with it, not long after he fell asleep. I patched his hand and the bite withdrawing the venom from his leg Liya got me a glass of water, and I rinsed out my mouth.
A smile played on my lips as I thought about the irony of this situation, this is the second time that I was the one sitting by his bed after he was bitten by a snake, though I was the cause of it this time, it seems that when I feel Im in danger there is always somthing there to help me out. and beens he was the danger this time one of the animals came and bit him, at least thats how ive been figuring it works so far.
