Chapter Twenty Nine

Olivia's P.O.V.

This has to go smoothly. If Ky causes a scene, then both him and Jackson could get in trouble and I would probably end up getting pulled in as well. I dressed in some purple shorts and a black and purple tank top I have stored in the back of my closet.

Even though I may not want to be at this thing very much, I will wear my school colors and represent as much as I can. I tried to find familiar faces, but I simply kept sliding by sophomores and freshmen.

They go to these things a lot more than everybody else.

Young ones just want to try and be more independent, that was me. I was the big flirt at the games, and normally I was cheer-leading while winking at men just so they would shouting at me dirty things. Now I stand on the sidelines and shout at girls if they mess up.

Ky still comes to football games because he likes representing the school, not the players. He also enjoys after parties. He didn't bring Nicole today, to my surprise, as he had said she didn't feel so good or something.

When I came home Saturday, both her and Ky seemed pretty shaken over something. I just heard that there was some kind of dangerous animal out on the lands and to not go out alone anymore.

I let Ky slip my mind as I walked along the juniors and below grades.

"Olivia!" I heard somebody scream and I looked up to find Mel with a big smile. She knows what is going on today and I'm pretty sure she is almost more excited than me. I'm just nervous. She could easily tell as we hugged each other and I pulled back with a shy smile.

"Everything'll be fine." She reassured me and rubbed my shoulders. The football game seemed to lag on until Ky finally showed and Mel took off. He caught my eye and I waved him over. He took the longest time to reach me until he finally slumped on the bleachers next to me.

"Ky..." I started with a shaking voice as I wondered in ways to tell him. "I know." He mumbled on his breath. I jumped and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up by how dark and annoyed his voice sounded. "W-What?" I asked and gave him a kind and lying smile.

"Mel spilled everything and simply asked me to act like I never even heard it." He said casually. That nasty little rat! This is the last time I ever tell her anything. "Don't blame her. At least it gives me time to prepare for this stupid talk." He said on his breath and I sagged my shoulders.

He doesn't sound please at all. Wait a second... "To prepare?" I said with pleasurable happiness. Suddenly it clicked in my mind and a smile jumped to my face and my hands clapped together. "You'll do it even without me having to be forceful!" I said with every ounce of excitement.

He stood up and smiled. He rubbed my hair and I decided to not make a fuss over it since he is talking to Jackson for me. "Nicole talked to me about it as well." He said with a memorable smile and stared off in the distance as he thought about her.

Wow this guy is really twisted in the mind by a simple girl. Well, I owe her a massive thank you. She really helps me out when it comes to Jackson. It's as though she might just be pushing us together harder than Jackson and I are actually trying for ourselves.

I only wonder why though? I mean after what Jackson has done to her and everything, why do this? If I was in her spot, I would be destroying every ounce of Jackson's happiness. "What did she say exactly?" I said, trying to not be so obvious that I am prying.
