*Five years later*
"Does this dress make my ass look big?" Hannah tried to turn around and check herself out, but she couldn't twist in her wedding dress. "Oh wow, you could be Kim K." Scarlett jokes, lacing her voice with sarcasm as she scrolls through her phone.
I plop on the couch next to her and we begin to watch old Pewdiepie videos together. "Come on guys! Tell me the truth." She crossed her arms over her chest and glared at us. I glanced at Scarlett and we looked back at her.
"It's missing something." I said and stood up. I searched my bag and took out a sharpie, then snatched her arm and she couldn't have looked anymore scared. "Relax, I'm not going to draw a penis on your arm." I chuckled and made a swift and soft movement of my wrist.
I had outlined a rune.
"A parabatai?" A grin stretched across her face and reached my own. "Book nerd." I heard Scarlett mumble, ruining the moment. "Want me to sit on you with my big Kim K ass?" Hannah asked and shook her butt towards her.
Scarlett's eyes flashed with complete horror. Suddenly my mother and Hannah's walked in, looking awfully confused as we were dying from laughter on the floor. "Ladies, tis time." Hannah's mother pointed to the time on her phone and we scurried upwards.
A frown set on her face as she looked at Hannah's hair. She fixed it as Hannah complained that she was going to pull all the hair off her head. When they were done, we all took a step back and looked at Hannah for a moment.
She looked absolutely stunning. She had two small strands of hair falling from her braided bun on both sides of her head. She only applied a light pink lipstick and you could barely tell she had mascara on since her grey-blue eyes pop and capture you immediately.
I smiled and felt like I was going to cry. I felt like it was only yesterday that we were eating cartons of ice cream everyday after school. "My mom can cry, you two cannot." Hannah pointed at Scarlett and I and I glanced to my side.
Sure enough Scarlett's eyes are red and puffy as well. "Let's go old women." I ushered everybody along. The warm western coast breeze brushed over my arms and I inhaled the familiar scent. I watched leaves fall as we walked past trees that were preparing for winter.
California had a way with nature. Good ways and bad ways. Scarlett, Hannah, and I eventually met up with the other bridesmaids where we were supposed to wait for the music to start. Hannah's dad joined us and all the groomsmen began pairing with their partners.
Hannah's father winked and smiled at me as he linked arms with Hannah, and she kissed him on the cheek. I jumped when I felt a hot kiss on my own cheek. "Who are you supposed to be?" I stepped back so he could admire my dress.
"Tris Prior, hence the beautiful black dress. Just so you know, I'm a bad-ass." I pointed at my waist and drew a line along the directions of the daggers sewn into my waistline. "Hm and that makes me...?" Ky questioned with a smirk, still admiring my dress...or my body?
"Four, or Tobias." I answered. "I'm a number?" His face was starting to become red as he was holding in laughter. "No you are selfless, kind, brave, int-." "Shh! It's starting!" Some jackass just cut off my awesome answer! I'll complain to Hannah later.
"Do Tris and Four...you know...wiggle the sheets at all?" Ky whispered in my ear and I blushed. "In the movie yes, but not in the books. All you get to see are my boobs. She sadly dies a virgin." I winked at him and linked my arm with his.
He looked surprised at the answer I had given him and stayed quiet. Ky and I were behind Olivia and Jackson, and behind us was Scarlett, and her new boyfriend Thomas. As soon as the music started, we waited fifteen seconds before coming out.
