She brought home the cakes and it was too heavy. They are going to have a party at their house.
And it's gonna be fun.
Chloe, Jessica, Sara, Lynn, Candice, Michael, and all of her colleagues-including her rival Tori Jenkins-were invited at the party.
So let me introduce Tori.
Tori Jenkins is a 26-year old broadcast journalist. She currently hosts the newscast "On This Day" and the documentary "Race: Why Equality Cannot Be Formed." She is envious of Rachel because....uhm, lemme tell you at the latter part of the book.
And let's continue.
The party was loud and everyone had their fair share of fun, drinks and food. The celebrant, Rachel, was having [bleep] with Anderson. Wait...are they already married?! (The author gasps.)
Well, not really. They're just making out and drinking champagne. (The author sighs.)
"I love you, Rachel," Anderson whispers and kisses her.
"I love you, too," she replies and hugs him.
The DJ was tuning up his mixer and switching it to EDM. They were partying like hell. But what is a pre-nup party-slash-birthday party without a dance from....of course! His fiancé, Anderson.
"Are you ready?" the DJ shouted. "Please welcome, Rachel Adams and Anderson Cooper!"
Everyone clapped as the dance started. They were waltzing and the lights were spotlighted on them.
"Anderson, when will we tie the knot? I'm excited and I'm ready to live with you, forever," she whispered while they were dancing.
"Let's wait for the right time and I'll make sure I'm gonna live with you," he said and kissed her on the forehead.
"When? I'm tired of waiting. I loved you for almost 2 years, Anderson. I can't imagine myself living without you," she whispered. Tears fell on her eyes.
He hugged her as they continue the beautiful waltz they have been in.
"I'm sorry, Anderson. I can wait. I still love you, okay?" she mutters and suddenly falls asleep on her shoulder.
They were in a condo a few blocks away from the party, and Rachel already had fell asleep and he slept beside her.
"I could imagine ourselves having kids, Rachel. I love it. I so love it. I want to be with you forever. I want to be by your side. I love you always and forever."
The next day, their house was a whole lot mess. Candice, Jessica, Michael and Chloe cleaned the house while they were away and much to their surprise, there was a whole pile of trash dumped up near their house.
"Sh*t, we need to get rid of this!" Jessica exclaimed.
"Maybe Tori did mess up the room once again," Michael suspected. Maybe. Just maybe.
So they cleaned up the room and Chloe found something way beyond her imagination.
A love letter from Anderson. And she saw another name embedded on it.
To Rachel, with love. And she freaked out as she opened the letter.
"Jessica! Michael! Candice!! Come heeeeere! I have something for yaaaaaa!!"
Oops! Let's stop there. I'll reveal all of it on the next chapter.
On the other hand, Rachel and Anderson were singing their hearts out on a karaoke bar.
"Are you serious? A date? But...I'm not on that yet," Rachel said.
"Of course, Rachel. I have something to ask you. A very important one," Anderson answered.
"What is it?" she asked.
"Secret. Maybe on the date," he said and gave her a tongue out.
"You're so...annoying," she replied.
"Haha, I'll say it to you at the right time," he said.
"Come on, let's go home," she insisted.
