"It was like, 2008, and Sara was doing Tonight that time, and she jumped on the sofa, not knowing what was going on, and so, of course, she was embarrassed, so she went outside. I saw her and then shared lunch with her. Then you [Lynn] were eavesdropping on our chitchat then it became news in the newsroom."
Everyone laughed, while Lynn was beet red in embarrassment.
"So, do you remember what you did on the day you were in the Philippines?" Chloe asked.
"Well, I proposed to her on national TV and she was very flattered and embarrassed at the same time. She doesn't know what to do!"
There were burst of laughs in the air again.
"In fact, I was very stunned. I was here in New York City and he was there in Manila, and despite that, we still were doing our thing. After all, journalism is our passion," Rachel added.
"Of course, it is," Anderson said, laughing. "We can never ever leave what we love, after all."
"You both got on accidents recently. What was the lesson you learned in both situations?" Lynn asked them.
"Journalism can be a really risky profession to enter in, and you have to be fearless. You have to take risks in order to tell the story to the people," Rachel answered. "There are very scary situations to be in, and you have to review what you are about to do."
"For me, I agree with what Rachel said. But let me point this. Journalism is love, enthusiasm for the story you are covering. In order for you to get the facts right, of course you have to obtain information first. And secondly, love your job. If you love your job, then the people will commend you for being true to your profession," Anderson said.
"How about your friends? Do they have a significant influence in your relationship?" Sara asked them both. And Anderson answered first.
"You are our friends. And we never treated you like friends. We treated you all like a family. That's what we are."
"You all have great influence in continuing our relationship. We were never afraid of being ourselves at all. We're like a big, big squad. Wherever we go, you are with us. So I'm very grateful to have you all here. Sara, Chloe, Lynn, Jess, Candice, Mike, Vicky and Elysse, I really, really am grateful to you for coming into our lives and for strengthening our bonds and our love for each other. We will never be here without you all, so thank you," Rachel said, teary-eyed.
"Thank you also to both of you. We'll never be this strong if those challenges hadn't happened. I'm grateful that we are so united to help each other in times of need, and to be there laughing in the good times with you all," Lynn said.
"Hey, that was a hell of a monologue! Damn! How did that...?" Sara exclaimed.
"Hahaha. It just came out of my head, though," Lynn answered, chuckling.
"That was one amazing interview we did, guys! Hey Wolf!" Chloe shouted.
"What?" he answered. "Oh, I'm coming!"
Everyone chuckled.
"So yeah, both of you and the whole squad, let me send you all off as we know that you are all going to participate in the wedding, so we are gonna have a send-off party at the end of this show."
"I couldn't get even more excited!" Chloe shouted.
"So, that was all for today, thank you all for tuning in in this special edition of Freedom to Express. On behalf of the whole squad, we all thank you, and as Wolf said earlier, me and the whole squad won't be here until...I don't know, but we assure you that we'll be fulfilling our duties even after this. I'm Rachel Adams...-Cooper! Hahahaha. Just joking. I'm Rachel Adams."
"And I'm Anderson Cooper. Good night, everyone."
They all clapped and went to the large banquet hall on the basement.
