Finally, Jamie arrived in the parking lot at about 7:15 pm.
"Took ya long enough!" Anderson said impatiently.
"I'm sorry, my apologies. I've had a long night." Jamie replied. "Um...yeah so, so have I...."
Anderson looked around awkwardly as he didn't do this part of the city as much. Jamie felt the awkwardness and decided to say something.
"So, I'm so excited for this party man. I know you aren't a party-goer but you will be one by the end of tonight, trust me." Jamie winked at Anderson.
This seemed to make Anderson even more nervous his eyes widened as he said, "Who will be at the party, Jamie?? Anyone I know?" "Yeah, a few people from work and also some of my friends. Now let's go, I call driving," Jamie answered.
The two of them took Jamie's brand new Mercedes Benz and sped to his house.
Jamie's house was a huge five-storey mansion that was located in the Hampton's. As they pulled up to the driveway, they saw fabulous and expensive cars parked.
I really don't like parties, Anderson thought to himself.
"LET'S PARTY!" Jamie jumped out of the car and ran into the house. Anderson sat there and finally got out, tightened his checkered long-sleeve skirt, fixed his silver hair, and walked into the house. There were streamers, flashing lights, loud music, women, food, and the roar of people as soon as he entered the house.
There was a big space in between the living room and the outdoor porch, which was probably the dance floor. There was also a DJ near the couch where they sat and drank some beer.
"Why are you here?" Jamie asked.
"Rachel...she made me angry," he answered.
"Oh. Calm down, bro. Maybe she was only frustrated on you," he muttered. "Come on, let's drink some more!"
On the other hand, Rachel locked herself in her bedroom and started wailing like hell.
The people downstairs let out a sigh as they heard her cry her heart out.
"Poor Rachel," Sara muttered. "Why is she crying like hell upstairs!? It's like someone died!"
Meanwhile...
"HEYYYY! LOOK EVERYONE, IT'S ANDERSON COOPER!", screamed Chris Cuomo, host of the nightly show.
Oh God, I hate all of this attention, Anderson thought.
"Hey, Chris! How've ya been man??" Anderson said.
"I'm amazing right now, isn't this...p- party gr-r-reat!?" he exclaimed half of his body leaning on Anderson because of him being drunk.
Anderson pushed Chris off of him gently and replied, "Yeah man, it's awesome. I'm gonna go get something to drink."
Oh good God. Everyone here is drunk, maybe I should just loosen up and get something to drink too, he thought. After what happened with Rachel earlier, I think I could use a drink. Maybe a few. We'll see.
Anderson walked over to where the drinks were being served. He looked at what everyone else was drinking. He turned to the bartender and said, "Hey, could I have a piña colada with two extra shots of Vodka?"
"Would that be it for you tonight, Mr. Cooper?" a delicate, but cheery voice, said.
He looked up at the bartender and saw that she had bright green eyes and brown hair. "Yes that's all for now, thank you."
A few minutes later his drink came and he drank all of it in about thirty seconds. The bartender looked at him like he was crazy.
"Well, do you want another one?" she asked with a smile and a bit of laughing.
"Ya know what, I think I'll take another one! Actually, give me two more. What the hell, this is my night."
