Rachel went out to the hospital where he was confined. Chloe was there, along with Jessica and Candice.

"Come, Rachel! Let's go to the sixth floor!" Jessica said, rushing to the sixth floor.

"Oh, Anderson," Rachel cried. Half of her world has been crushed right now. She bangs on the door, looking at his pale face, fighting for his life. Please, Anderson, stay with me....

Jamie got up the sixth floor and saw them there. Anderson was really fighting for his life. He was desperate to live.

"Hey, what happened?" he asked them. "H-he's o-on life support," Candice answered. The others don't want to say anything.

Ella and her crew were outside right now.

"It's 11 pm Eastern, and we are here outside the JFK Memorial Hospital for the latest regarding our colleague Anderson's condition. He's still on life support according to Jamie Carter, his friend. His fiancé Rachel was still devastated by the news and coincidentally, another colleague of ours, Chloe O'Hara is also here because of her delicate pregnancy, along with Jessica Washington and Candice Foreman, both Rachel's producers. We hope the best for Anderson and may he survive this battle."

Big dipper north of nowhere

Outside the room, inside my mind

I, look forward to tomorrow

But can I leave yesterday behind

How it feels so strange

To have grown and change

Now it's not the same

They heard the song play just nearby where they're standing.

Cause time slips and slides

Into another place and try

As we might to understand each other

Doesn't really matter where you are

It always seems so very far

Coz you're lightyears away

You're lightyears away

From me

Something smells fishy. They were really looking for the place where it started.

Then a soothing instrumental song played.

Canon in C.

Guitars.

"Hey! Can you please stop the music?" Rachel shouted. And it stopped. There was a pretty much awkward silence gearing up the atmosphere.

"Uggggh. Play it again, you b***h," she annoyingly uttered. They laughed at them.

"Calling the attention of Rachel Adams, please go inside the ward right now. Calling the attention of Rachel Adams, please go inside the ward right now."

Immediately, she went inside the suite and a doctor was waiting there.

"Hello, Maam. I'm his doctor, Dr. Williams, and he has survived. I have already removed the life support and now, he can speak," the doctor said.

"Oh, thank you, Doctor. Thank you so much. I owe you everything."

"I'd better be going now."

She hugged Anderson tight while the others went in and saw them hugging.

"Uhhhhh," they chorused.

Ella was still outside, looking at her Twitter feed. Jamie had just tweeted the happenings inside the ward.

The feels all over the place. Doctors have removed life support on him.

"I have received some updates from the suite. According to our colleague Jamie, the doctors have removed life support. Lynn also tweeted that Anderson is able to communicate again and he is in a very stable condition. Guys, please keep on praying until he can report once again. Ella Kirkpatrick, WLAC, New York."

Oh yeah! They are in love with each other once again. He can now speak and communicate! Love ya Anderson and please stay strong!

The next week, Anderson was interviewed by Mia Reynolds for Lighthearted Talks.

"I love you so much, Anderson," Rachel muttered to herself as she watches his interview.

"Great one you've got there, Mia! Nice job!" she commended. "Oh, thank you. I'll keep on doing my best," Mia answered.

"And that's all for our Lighthearted Talks, this is Rachel Adams and have a wonderful weekend, everyone!"

Author's Note:

Hi, guys! The video above is Lightyears, from which the title of this book was taken. It is a song by one of the best Philippine bands ever to form, Eraserheads. I am a fan of their work. In fact, we have 2 of their albums (in cassette tapes), namely their debut album Ultraelectromagneticpop! and their most successful album ever, Cutterpillow. Lightyears was included in Fruitcake, the band's only Christmas album.

Can you see? The lyrics was included in this chapter. Enjoy!
