Yesterday, after knowing what really happened to Kimberly… I and the girls are still out of our minds, we’ve been very quiet and sad since then. When we have our break, we’re just literally eating and not much talking. It’s very different but I hope we can survive this… we hope Kimberly will make it.

We’re walking at the hallway when the assistant guidance counselor approaches us.

“Girls, go to the office now!” She said, looking straight into our eyes.

“Wait Ma’am, what did we do wrong?” I asked.

“We’ll talk about it there, come with me.” We follow her towards the office, our nerves are breaking.

“Harwood, Brooke, Paige, Smith, Roberts… we received a report that you girls went out of school in your class hours without any permission.” Mrs. Maxwell (our guidance counselor) said, looking very mad.

“It was an emergency. We told our schoolmate to tell this to you because we don’t have enough time to personally go to your office.” Nathalie immediately replied.

“Yes, he told us about it. But still it is necessary to personally come and ask for our permission. It is a very strict rule in our university. This is not just sort of high school; we are here to train you all to obey our rules.” She said while looking for some document.

“But we have a very appropriate reason. Our best friend which is already part of our family and also a student here before had a cancer.” Juliette said about to tear up.

“We’re very sorry but still we are not liable for that. You students should have thought twice.” She said nodding.

“Can you please consider us? Our reason is very understandable Ma’am. What will you do if you’re in our shoes? We just did what’s right and more important.” I said, still in a low tone.

“Don’t dare me to answer that. Even it’s very important, the office was not that far for you to go and ask for permission. I understand you but I’m sorry. Rules are rules. You’re all suspended and we’ll talk to your parents.” She said and walked away from us.

“But Ma’am!!!” Nathalie shouted.

We went out of the office and saw Andrew… it seems like he’s waiting for us.

“Guys, I tried to explain and I did my best to make them understand but they are heartless. It’s my fault, I’m sorry. I am the one who should be suspended.” He said in his head down.

“Andrew, it’s not your fault. And it’s okay if we got suspended. We just did the right thing but a wrong one for them. Our parents will be the one to explain.” Michelle said, smiling.

I called my Mom to pick us up and talk to the guidance counselor about what happened. I’m sure she won’t get mad and will help us out.

After a few minutes, she arrived in our university. She went straight forward to where we are.

“Mom, please convince her. We don’t want to be suspended just for that. You know that we shouldn’t be in this position.” I said holding her hands.

“I will sweetie, don’t worry. I’ll make sure that everything will be alright. Be right back, I’ll talk to the guidance counselor now.” She said smiling to us and walked away from us.

Suddenly, we saw Stefanie walking towards us looking very happy but rolling her eyes to us.

“Look who are in trouble? I pity you guys. But you all deserved it. You should be expelled!” She said smiling at us.

“We don’t have time to make an argument. But don’t you dare tell us that, we just did the right choice. You don’t know what happened, so shut up.” Michelle said, losing her temper.

“Well I don’t care what happened. I wouldn’t get any credits if I’ll ever know.” She said rolling her eyes and folded her arms.

“I don’t get it; we didn’t do anything bad about you then why are you doing this to us?” Elizabeth said in a bit loud tone.

“You will all know one day. And I promise you; because of you girls I’ve changed a lot… I turned into worst. You should think back what had happened before. I changed because of pain; you don’t know what I’ve been through because of you all.” She gave us a serious look and walked away. We left there still curious and thinking what had we done before that made her turned into a b*tch.
