Chapter 21: Everything has Changed

Izzy’s POV:

This day was really weird, awkward, and very different. Elizabeth and Juliette left our group. I admit I really miss how things used to be. I miss walking on the hallway with them, laughing very hard, making other people jealous because we’re so fabulous and our friendship was really tighter than our skinny jeans. We may have different attitudes and hobbies but we still work things up for us to get along. But like what they say, good things must come to an end. I just hope that I can bring back the past or at least draw our future.

“Hey girl!” Nathalie suddenly appeared beside me.

“Oh hey, so where’s Michelle?” I asked in a bit sad tone.

“She’s with Tyler of course. You know I can’t believe that from group of 6 girls, we’re now down for 3. And Michelle is not much hanging out with us now.” She said and took a deep breathe.

“I know right. I never imagine being in this situation.” I replied.

I’m about to tell something when my cheerleading group came.

“Hey girl, I’m sorry to interrupt you both but Izzy we need to practice now.” She said and pulled my hand.

“Uhmm okay, Nathalie see you later?” I asked her first.

“Yeah sure, it’s okay. I’m about to go as well to our volleyball practice. See you, bye!” As soon as she said goodbye, my friends in cheerleading pulled me and we went to our practice hall.

Our lunch break was indeed really different as well. I’m sitting with my cheerleading friends, Nathalie is with her volleyball team friends, Michelle is with Tyler, Juliette is with her cousin Abby and other friends, and Elizabeth is with her new group with Stefanie. Wow! This is really worst! Whenever I’m staring at them, I’m sure that they feel the same way as well.

Since there are still remaining few minutes, I went to my locker. When I opened it, I saw two letters, one from Juliette and one from an unknown. I first opened the letter from Juliette.

“Hey girl, today’s lunch break was really different. You don’t know how much I want to sit beside you and the other girls. I made this letter because I want to tell you that I miss how things used to be and I hope that our situation right now will come to an end, I can’t stand this. Anyway, this will be the first time and probably the last letter that I can give to you because you know that I’m allowed. Yeah so I love you girl and take care! Xoxo”

I found myself smiling after I read her letter. At least I know that she still hasn’t changed.

I’m about to close my locker when I saw the other letter from an unknown identity.

“Hey beautiful, don’t forget to smile and be happy. You’re awesome and stay strong! Much love!”

I look at the people on the hallway wondering if that unknown person is looking at me. But unfortunately, I don’t see anyone who’s looking in my direction. I wonder who this person is. Well anyway, he/she is very sweet and nice. Hope he/she will appear and talk to me soon.

I was about to go to my next class when I saw Michelle… with Tyler of course. I ran towards her and gave her a big hug but she pulled me back and walked away from me.

“Woah! What the hell is going on with you?” I shouted; I’m sure she heard it.
