Chapter 28: Jelly Me

Nathalie’s POV:

I was in the gym hall for our volleyball practice. Next week is the finals and we have to put some sweat on this time. 

Andrew was as well practicing for their basketball tournament. It was just quite irritating because there were a lot of screaming girls in the gym supporting for Andrew and they make my nerves up.

“WE LOVE YOU ANDREW!” A group of girls screamed. 

Woah, they are really annoying. I want to kill them with a rake! What annoys me more was when Andrew smiled and waved back to them. Damn! I can’t take this sight.

Andrew and her team were having a break. I was about to go to him when a lot of girls went to him handing water and face towels to him. Eew! Those slutty girls were totally off limits!

“I smell jealousy in the air.” One of my team mates said and looked at me.

“Were you referring to me?” I asked.

“I didn’t mention any name, but maybe you feel it.” She smirked at me.

“To clear this out, I’m not jealous to those girls who are very annoying and very cheeky towards my best friend.” I said in a bit loud tone.

“But your expression is telling otherwise.” She replied and smiled.

I was about to tell something when I saw one of the girls hugged Andrew.

“Don’t you dare hug him!!!” I accidentally shouted that caught everyone’s attention. The whole crowd was looking at me, even Andrew. I was blushing so hard, this is really embarrassing.

“You’re not really jealous, huh!?” One of my team mates said in a sarcastic way.

“I DIDN’T SAY ANYTHING, OKAY!!!” I ran away and went outside the gym hall. I was really embarrassed about myself.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps from behind.

“You don’t have to be jealous.” 

I looked back and saw Andrew, smirking at me. Shit got real! I want to disappear, OMG I don’t know what to say.

“I’m not jealous, okay. I was just shocked.” I said not looking in his eyes.

“Jealousy is not a crime if you really do care about that person.” He smiled at me.

“Uhmm.. that’s nothing!!! Please forget about it, I was just taken away by my emotions but that doesn’t mean anything.” I said and walked away from him.

He pulled me back and he looked into my eyes that absolutely killing me with embarrassment deep inside.

“Okay, to tell you the truth I was jealous that then because you’re my best friend and nothing more.” I said.

“Of course you’re my best friend, are you thinking more than that?” He burst out laughing.

“Why the hell are you laughing? I don’t mean anything, okay! You’re such a jerk, Drew!” I said in a loud tone.

“Well anyway, I’m sorry of I made you jealous. But I can’t help it, that a lot of girls like me.” He smirked.

“Eww you man! I regret being your best friend.” I said and rolled my eyes.

“Ouch, that hurts!” He burst out laughing again.

“You’re just making fun of me, I hate you eternally!” I shouted.

“Okay I’m serious now. Nathalie, you don’t have to be jealous. They’re nothing compared from you. I’ll talk to them and explain that my best friend will get jealous if they’ll do that always.” He smiled at me.

“You’re so cheesy man.” I replied.

“But you got jealous because of this cheesy man.” He said.

“Whatever, you’re such a jerk! I’m going to my next class, see you!” I walked away from him and smiled.

“BYE JELLY GIRL!” He shouted so loud and I just smiled like an idiot.
