Chapter 2: Hanging Explanation

“Bestie!!!!!” Kimberly screamed on top of her lungs then ran towards me and gave me a very big hug…that is very breath-taking like she wants me to die.

“You know what? This is kinda suffocating so don’t you mind stop this and get inside the car instead?” I said to her and she quickly pulled me against her and went inside the car.

She wore grayish-black skinny jeans, a light blue top saying; “Forever Young”, a denim cardigan, boots and a very light make up. She’s a very cool girl yet so sweet.

The rest of the ride went to silence even there’s music. But it is very difficult on which song will we play for the fact that she wants JB songs and me 1D songs. Because of that, we made a deal. We will play a 1D song first then JB for the next one. Or if not, we’ll just prefer to play random songs instead.

As we went inside the school, I saw Joe going to where I am. He has blue eyes, black hair, tall, perfect body, known as Mr. Most Popular Guy in school, varsity in every sports game and most of the girls wants to be his girlfriend but he ended up on breaking a lot of girls’ hearts which made him look like a bad boy.

 “Hey beautiful, what’s up?” he said then winked at me.

Ughh! I can’t take this. I’m really so disgusted about his actions.

I rolled my eyes and said, “Hey Joe, I’m going to be late in my first class so may I leave you know and stop winking at me ‘cause it won’t make you look adorable to me.” then walk towards my first class.

Luckily, Kimberly and I have the same first class this day. Mrs. Walsh is our subject teacher here. She is like an early 30’s lady who is very cautious and bitter when we talk about love. It’s because some people said that the first person who she truly loves, moved in other country and never came back. Since then, she doesn’t want to talk about love and it’s very rare to see her smiling and laughing. It’s very sad because she’s indeed a beautiful lady.

“Good morning class! Literally, I am going to be your teacher and I hope it is okay to you all because you don’t have any choice.” She said in a serious voice and put her eyeglasses on.

“As usual, all of you should introduce yourselves in front of the class. Izzy Harwood! You start first.” She said and made an “obey-me-or-you’ll-go-to-hell” look.

“Hey guys! So I’m Izzy Harwood, I just moved here from New York and I hope we will all be friends.” I said and smiled then went back to my chair.

The rest of the class was spent by just introducing ourselves and doing some stuff which made us all felt bored.

It’s now lunch break and there are four girls that are walking towards us. Oh! They’re Michelle, Nathalie, Juliette, and Elizabeth… some of our very close friends.

“Hey sis!” Elizabeth said to me, she used to call me ‘sis’ because we’re that close. She hugged me and Kimberly as well.

“You look very ugly today, huh!” Michelle said in a very sarcastic tone.

“Hey Izzy and Kimmie!” Nathalie and Juliette said in unison.

We all did some chit chats about our first class when Kimberly cut off our conversation.

“So, I think we better buy some food now before our lunch break ends?” Kimberly said and we all agreed.

“Izzy, Joe is looking for you the whole day! What’s up with you both? Are you two already lovebirds and you already did broke your promise of being One Direction’s legal wife forever?” Juliette asked me and the rest of the girls burst out laughing.

“Girls, you all know that my heart belongs only to One Direction. Plus, Joe is just my acquaintance. He’s very annoying and he feels like he owns every girl’s heart which is not true.” I said.

“So why don’t you tell him this directly so that he’ll know that he has no chance in winning your heart!?” Nathalie said in a bit serious tone.

“Well, I still don’t know. Maybe I’ll tell him at the party on Saturday. You’ll all see.” I smiled and took a sip of my milk tea.

“Talking about that party, will you all go there?” I said while eating some fries and waiting for their answer.

“HELL YEAH! We’ll going to run that party, girls!” They all said in unison except for Kimberly.

“Kimberly, you’re coming… right?” I said to her with my puppy dog eyes saying “please say yes”.

“Uhh-” Before she speaks, the bell rang. Back to our classes!

“We’ll talk about this later, okay?” I said to her in serious tone and gave her a small hug.

“Okay.” She said in a sad voice and walked away.
