Chapter 19: Replacement? What!

We’re very happy that my Mom convinced Mrs. Maxwell not to suspend us. She gave us a second chance and of course we will never do it again, but to be honest… we don’t care if we’ll be suspended; we only did it for our best friend.

Elizabeth’s POV:

I was walking alone at the hallway when Stefanie and her girls suddenly appeared.

“Hey girl, so would you want to sit with us this lunch?” Stefanie asked and winked at me.

“No thanks, my girls are waiting for me.” I asked walking away from them.

“Hey wait, I have to tell you something. Very important, so please just for this time?” She said, smiling at me.

“Okay fine.” I said. I want to get rid out of her.

“So let’s go to the canteen? Your girls won’t get mad, I promise.” She said and pulled my hand.

Izzy’s POV:

“Hey girls, look! Is that Elizabeth???? And she’s with Stefanie and her girls?” I asked to them, very shocked.

“OMG what happened to her? Is she out of her mind? She knows that Stefanie has this bad thing to us!” Nathalie said about to stand when I pulled her back.

“And she looks having fun with them! What the hell is going on girls? We have to do something about this!” Michelle added.

“Let’s go girls; we have to talk to Elizabeth and also to Stefanie!” Juliette rolled her eyes.

Stefanie whispered to Elizabeth when she saw us approaching to them. This is some serious sht.

“Hey Elizabeth, have you forgotten to sit with us this lunch?” Michelle said and widened her eyes.

“Well girls, I’m sorry but I’m out of the group. I realized that you’re just all just fake dumb btches.” She said and smiled like Stefanie to us.

“WAIT, WHAT DID YOU SAY?! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? WAKE UP LIZ! YOU’RE JOINING THE WRONG PEOPLE! AND PLUS, WE’RE NOT FAKE DUMB BTCHES!” Juliette said in a bit loud tone. We’re indeed very shocked for what she just said.

“I know what I’m doing! I really regret that I’ve been best friends with you all. I had a great time with you but I’m better with Stefanie and her girls. So can you please excuse us and back off? We’re busy here; go back to that eww bench you’re sitting.” She said, rolled her eyes and smiled to Stefanie.

“If that’s what you want, then okay. I think we’re better off without you. Remember this, if you ever have a problem and if you need someone to lean on, don’t ever call us because this is what you want, right? We’re now practically strangers and to tell you this, I don’t really know what’s going on to you but you can still explain what is really happening to you and we’ll try to understand. Have fun with Stefanie and her girls. I promise you, you’ll regret this! Let’s go now girls.” I said and went back to our seats.

“I don’t get this. Maybe there’s something that made her turned like Stefanie. We should talk to her.”  Nathalie said.

“That’s enough; she already told us that she’s out in this group because we’re all just dumb. Well maybe because she’s that kind of girl in this group who is very intelligent and Ms. Know-It-All. She’s maybe intelligent in some aspects, but we’re wise and we’re doing what’s right.” I said to them and took a deep breathe.

“Well maybe we just learned a lesson that as we grow up, we realize it is less important to have lots of friends, and more important to have real ones.” Michelle said and smiled to us.

“No matter what happens in this crazy world we’re living, our friendship will never be gone. We will always be there for each other and no one can change that.” Juliette said and we all hugged each other.

This day was really sad and happy at the same time. I know that I and the girls are still curious about what happened to Elizabeth, but I’m sure she’ll go back to us. Deep down in our hearts, there’s still a place for Elizabeth, she’ll always be our girl and this just needs an explanation. This is just a test for our friendship, we will never give up and we will be back for what we used to.
