Finally it’s already Saturday, time to relax and have fun. But I bet this won’t be a great weekend because of what happened to our group.

Suddenly, my phone rang. It’s a call from Geny; my closest friend in cheerleading.

“Hey girl, are you free this afternoon?” She asked me.

“You idiot, I’m expensive!” I said laughing.

“Eww dry joke! Anyway so will you hang out with us?” She asked.

“Uhmm yeah sure.” I replied while thinking about my girls.

“Yay! I’ll pick you up at 2! See you girl, love you… bye.” She dropped the phone.

I’m about to go outside when my phone rang again, it is Nathalie’s text saying; “Girl, wanna hang out this afternoon?”

I felt a bit mad at myself because I’m going to refuse her offer, Geny asked me first and I’m sure she would be mad at me if I’ll back out. I’m about to reply when she texted me again.

“Girl, please!!!! Michelle is not going with me because she’s with Tyler so please?”

I texted her saying; “Sorry but I’m going to hang out with Geny and some of my cheerleading friends. She asked me first so I hope you’ll understand. But if you want, you can go here later at night or I’ll go there in your house.”

20 minutes had passed and she still hasn’t texted me, I’m quite worried. Maybe she’s now cursing me and really mad.

Luckily, after like 10 more minutes she texted me saying; “It is okay and don’t mind to go here because I’m sure you’ll be tired.”

I called her quickly because I’m sure she’s really mad at me.

I called her for about 15 times and she still hasn’t picked up the call. I decided to go in her house since it’s not that far and it’s only 9am.

Her mom saw me at their gate and quickly invited me to go inside. I hurriedly went to Nathalie’s room and knocked her door. She opened it and I saw in her face how shocked she was.

“Why are you here?” she said, still shocked for my existence.

“You don’t want to?” I replied smiling.

I thought she was going to say something but instead, she hugged me so tight and she’s literally crying.

“I thought I’m not your main girl anymore, I thought you’re going to be like Elizabeth and Michelle who will leave me behind.” She said crying.

“Of course I wouldn’t do that. You’re one of my best friends and I’ll always be here for you whenever you need me.” I said and wiped away her tears.

“Thank you so much. I thought you already replaced us with your other friends.” She said and hugged me again.

“Aw, you’re such a baby! I will never replace you all. You all are still the best and I know everything will be back.” I said and hugged her.

“So are you still going to hang out with Geny and your other friends?” She asked.

“Yeah, I don’t want to lose them either. They’re great friends, hope you’ll understand.” I said and smiled.

“It’s alright, I understand. I’m not a baby to be taken care of 24/7. But I still appreciate that you went here when I didn’t answer your calls.” She said to me and smiled back.

“Everything for my girl.” I said and gave her the biggest smile ever.
