Juliette’s POV:

I still can’t get over what happened yesterday, it was like a nightmare. I never thought Elizabeth will do it; especially she’s that kind of friend who will be there for you until the very end.

“Sweetie, come here. We need to talk.” My mom said. She’s standing beside my room’s door.

“Yeah sure, what is it?” I replied and she sat beside me on my bed.

“Your cousin Abby told me that you mostly got suspended. Luckily, Izzy’s mom convinced the guidance counselor not to suspend you all. What happened?” she said in a soft tone.

Abby is my cousin from my Mother’s side, we’re studying in the same school and we’re both juniors. We’re very close and we practically like sisters.

“Uhmm well we just did it for our best friend Kimberly. She has a cancer.” I said while tearing up.

“Yeah I know about that already, I’m very sorry. But sweetie, after your Dad knew about this he told me that it’s good for you to change your group of friends. You should stay away with your girls.”

“WHAT! Mom, that can’t be!!! They’re not bad influence!” I shouted; a bit mad and annoyed.

“I know sweetie, but your Dad got really angry when he knew about the suspension. You know your Dad, very strict when it comes to studies. This might be hard for you but I’m sorry. There are people there who will watch you if you’re still hanging out with them.” She said and ran her hand to the strands of my hair.

“And you’ll be going to hire some spies for me! Mom, this is not right. I can’t do this! My girls are basically my other half!” I said and took a deep breathe.

“I know, sweetie. It’s really hard for me as well. The girls were like my daughters as well. But I’ll convince your Dad that this won’t be permanent.” She said and smiled at me.

“Woah! So he has this idea to make this permanent? I’m not a prisoner here mom!!! I need my girls.” I said; a tear fell from my eyes.

“Let’s just obey your Dad’s rule. All he wants is for you to have a good and safe life. Don’t dare him to break his rules, you know him and you know what he can do if you ever do something stupid. I’ll leave now. Stay strong sweetie, we love you.” She left me here hanging with my unfixed emotions.

I’m crying really hard, what the hell is happening in this world! First, Elizabeth turned into worst and left us. Now, I’m going to left my girls as well, my best friends who have been a big part in my life. I don’t want to do this, but I have to. I don’t want them to be in danger, I know my Dad.

I called them all and as soon as they answered I spoke up;

“Girls, I have to tell something. Let me finish this first before you interrupt me… I’m leaving the group.”

“WHAT!!!” They all shouted.

“Let me explain first. My Dad knew about the suspension, he got really angry about that and thought that you are all bad influence. He also knew that because of Izzy’s Mom we weren’t suspended anymore but he still thinks that I’m better off without you all. I did my best to explain, I did everything but it wasn’t enough. He hired some spies to make sure that I’m not hanging out with you all and I have to obey him. I know what he can do if I didn’t obey him, you all might be in harm. I’m sorry girls, you’re all so important to me, you all know that. You all are my other half already but I have to do this even I don’t want to. I’m very sorry.” I’m about to tell more when my Mom came in my room, grabbed my phone and dropped the call.

“I’m sorry darling but no more communication with your girls. Hope you’ll understand.” She smiled at me and left the room.

I need to be strong even there are a lot of unexpected happenings that are slowly bringing me down.
