(Ryan's perspective)
I woke to the sudden, violent shake from my shoulder. I opened my eyes in annoyance to see Mason staring down at me. "What on earth do you want?" I muttered. "Come on, Icas came back. He brought news." Mason said. I jumped to my feet, and ignoring the chuckle Mason gave once I rushed past him. I ran down the hallway, and into the library. I didn't need to know the location of Icas in our Manor, I know that his favorite meeting place is the library. I pushed open the doors, to see Jackson, Amy, Bella and Madison. I basically flew down the stairs, because I couldn't remember actually stepping down them. "Why are you in such a hurry?" Jackson asked. "Because I am." I muttered. The actual reason was getting information on how to fix Maia. Once I left the hospital, I returned to the Manor in sadness, and eventually Mason and Icas came into my room. It had been two weeks now that Maia had been locked up in a coma. Icas had explained on how he could research some sort of spell to release Maia from her coma. I remember his exact words "I must warn you, this could change her healing process and she may never wake up again. Are you sure you want to go through with this?" I didn't know what to say, if this works I would get Maia back. But if this doesn't then I'll never get Maia again.
I eventually came up with the idea of thinking about it along with Mason, and that's why Icas is here today. "Alright. Ten seconds, your final answer. If you don't answer as soon as the time has run out, deal is off the table. This is wasting my time." Icas snapped. The only thing I noticed from him is when we got back, he returned to his grumpy and stubborn personality. I didn't know why, and I didn't have any urge to find out. He was continuously annoying, and he didn't seem to have the care in the world about Maia. After all she risked, and I couldn't accept that. The battle ended after she got hurt, and Icas would have been dead if she hadn't. Which I didn't mind at the moment. "I..." I stumbled to find the words, all this time I had forgotten to make my final answer. Mason didn't have much time either, he was spending the day with Bella or Madison. "10....9...8" Icas yawned. "Mason what do I do?" I hissed. "I don't know, say yes.." Mason whispered. "7....6....5...." Icas tapped his watch. "What if I never get Maia back?" I whisper. Mason obviously saw the worriedness in my eyes, because he rolled his eyes and looked at me seriously.
"You can find out if this is dangerous or not after you say yes, you can deny it afterwards." Mason whispered. I nodded slowly, turning back to Icas who had almost reached one. "Fine. My final answer is yes." I sighed. "Very good," Icas chuckled. "I was personally praying for you to say yes, I had this date with this girl who won't leave me alone. It couldn't possibly be more annoying and entertaining." Icas smiled slightly. I rolled my eyes, tapping my foot impatiently in the floor while I was waiting for Icas to be done searching through the book he had brought. "Why did you say yes?" Amy asked. "Do you want Maia back or not?" I rolled my eyes. "Of course we want Maia back," Bella snapped. "Ever since you came home from the hospital you've been moody." Bella muttered. "Oh have I? I didn't notice. I mean I couldn't possibly think it could be because the love of my life is on her death bed and I won't know if she'll wake or not." I said sarcastically. "Ryan, stop being mean." Mason snapped. "Sorry." I muttered to Bella. All I saw was Bella roll her eyes at me, I chuckled slightly turning to Madison who was staring at me silently.
"You okay?" I asked her, slightly disgusted. "Have you ever though of the other people who pitched in to help Morren?" She muttered. "No, and I don't need to. I don't care if they die in a demons jaw." I answered. "But why didn't they show up at the fight? I didn't spot the Counsellor anywhere." Madison sighed. "Oh that reminds me, we need to go back into Irenic and end that successful life of his." I smiled. "Your a changed person." Madison muttered, before going over to help Icas. I opened my mouth to argue, but secretly I knew it was true. I have changed over everything that occurred. Maia, Morren, everything had changed me. "Found it!" Icas chuckled. "No you didn't, I did. You were basically an old man trying to find the coupons for the beef." Madison rolled her eyes. We all chuckled softly, except for Icas of course.
