(Maia's perspective)

"Hurry up, we're almost there." Madison hissed in my ear, causing me to roll my eyes. It had at least been about fifteen minutes since we had escaped through the window, Madison had told me and the girls about the guy she met, she had kept something from her brother. I remember her exact words, "Mason can't know this, he'll become overprotective and I'll probably lose my freedom around here that I've gained. I know it sounds stupid, but the guy asked to meet me again. And I attend on to doing so." That's where we were heading. To meet this guy only Madison has seen, and to be clear I was quite nervous. I had no intentions falling in love with him, but I just wasn't sure on how Ryan was going to act when he found out. I was with Madison, so it wasn't like I went and exposed myself to the world. "This is stupid, what if he kills us or something?" I asked in a hushed tone. "Kill us? You really think if he tried I would let him?" Madison nearly snapped.  Seemed like she had great faith in this boy, who she's probably only spoken to him at least for a couple minutes.

We were still traveling through the forest, and we were almost at the destination. We had ran the first part, in case someone had seen us and were following us. Madison had also ordered me to change directions every now and then for the same case, it made sense but annoyed me very much. We had soon went back on course, making me follow Madison's lead. "We're almost there." Madison whispered with a smile, looking back at me. "Do you like this boy?" I asked, raising my brow. If she did, I would be utterly surprised. "No, I mean, no, I don't know. He's a very attractive kid, and I'm not sure what I feel on. But he seems nice, I want to give him a chance. At least if he wants one." Madison whispered the last sentence. I sighed and nodded, following her into a small clearing. The trees were circled around the clearing, keep the sides hidden with bushes and leaves. I couldn't see anything past the trees, making me sigh in irritation. "Relax, he should be here soon." Madison reassured me, but I was already on edge once I heard a deep voice. "I'm already here." Said the voice, as a tall structure emerged from the trees and into the clearing with us.

He had dark brown hair, almost black. His skin was tanned, no where near pale. His eyes were grey and showed no clear emotion, just another hard gaze set on Madison and I. His shirt outlined his muscles, but his black leather jacket covered up his muscles on his arms, making my eyes drift somewhere else. His jaw was slightly clenched, and short strands of hair was sticking over his face. He looked like the most beautiful creature I've ever seen, but Ryan was better. "Stop staring." Madison hissed in my ear, shoving me gently. I rolled my eyes and sighed, trying to look straight into his eyes and forced myself to relax. "You didn't tell em you were bringing someone." He said, looking away from me and towards Madison. "She wanted to come." Madison said calmly, her hands shoved into her jacket's pockets. He nodded in understanding, taking another step towards Madison. I soon figured I would probably be the third wheel here, I just needed to make sure Madison knew what she was doing. "What's her name?" He asked, nodding towards me but kept his eyes on Madison. Before giving Madison a chance to speak, I spoke for myself. "I think I'll introduce myself after you." I said harshly, crossing my arms and glaring at him.

He simply looked over to me afterwards, his jaw clenching from anger. "Feisty, aren't we? I think you should watch that mouth before it kills you." He smirked, rolling his grey eyes at me. "Trust me, I know how to control it." I shot back, snorting at him. "Maia this is Aidan, Aidan this is Maia." Madison cut in between us, shooting me a dirty glare. I rolled my eyes and closed my mouth, shutting myself up before Madison regretted to let me come. I let them speak where I myself had drifted off into my thoughts again. I had only wanted to come because I was indeed curious, but I also knew Ryan would want to talk about what happened earlier between us, and I simply just didn't want to. I didn't know why he thought he could keep me here like a prisoner, maybe he was going crazy. There's plenty of dangers out there revolving around me and others, don't get me wrong, but I can take care of myself. I wasn't this little, frightened girl anymore, I was actually something now. "Maia." Madison snapped, bringing me out of my deep trance. I shook my head and looked shocked towards Aidan and Madison who were glaring st me "What?" I asked, furrowing my brows in confusion. "Idiot." I heard Aidan mutter under his breath, making me glare at him furiously. "We were wondering if you could go back to the Manor without us." Madison snapped, still glaring at me. "I can't do that." I sighed, raising my brows at her. "Can't you find your way back?" Aidan asked me, irritation edging to his tone.
