(Ryan's Perspective)
I watched Maia, Bella and Amy all say their goodbyes to the little girl. My thoughts were all positive about her, and if anyone here disliked her, then they can wait in a cell without anyone until they realize how amazing she is. She now understand where her brother is, taking a long conversation between Eliza and I. It did cause tears, and I couldn't blame her. She was almost five years old now, and I remember the last thing she told me. She had told me before we were interrupted by Bella and Amy, "My brother's birthday is in a week." Now I knew that was going to kill her, kill her and her whole family. I wouldn't know what to do if I was in her position. I crouched on the grass with Mason at my right, and Madison at my left, finally leaving Jackson at Madison's side. I had a good look at Maia and Eliza, and kept silent as everyone else talked in hushed tones, I sighed once Eliza had got up and walked towards the car. "I still think we should have kept her, to train her." Jackson muttered quietly. "She's like four years old, get over it Jackson." Madison muttered, and listening to her speak she seemed annoyed. "Don't annoy Madison, she'll blow our cover." Mason whispered, smirking slightly. I just grinned as Madison shot him a death glare, turning back to watch Eliza.
I watched the officer or whatever you call them close the door, pausing as he looked back at Maia. I furrowed my brows in confusion, watching Maia freeze and turn around quickly. I watched her jaw open and close, but I couldn't make out the words she was saying. She looked nervous, as did Amy and Bella. I bit my lip, trying to inch forward to try and hear a bit better without rustling the bushes. "What's going on?" Madison asked in a whisper. "I'm not sure..." I whispered back, feeling my gaze harden on the man who stepped closer to Maia, getting a better look at her. I whipped my attention to another man who approached Bella and Amy, turning to the other man and said something, only making me catch at least two words "These..........missing." The man seemed to nod, turning back to Maia and pushed her slightly towards the car. "No, something's going on." Jackson whispered, as I looked to everyone and they looked like dogs waiting for a treat. "Thanks Sherlock." Mason whispered, making me roll my eyes. The girls were soon hesitating, making the men impatient. As one man attempted to push Amy into the car, Madison shot up and emerged from the bushes. "What is she doing" I hissed, watching her walk towards the two men. She was louder this time, thankfully so the rest of us could hear. "Leave them, now." Madison said, crossing her arms. "Who are you?" One of the men asked.
"My name is none of your concern, and you really shouldn't ignore my command. Let them go." Madison said, and I was completely shocked by her calm tone towards the unknown men. Mason had motioned for me to come, I half crawled towards him with Jackson, hoping the men wouldn't see us. "Now we have a better view." Mason whispered, and I nodded in agreement. We had a perfect side view, I turned to glance at the car as I saw Eliza's little face pressed against the window. I sighed and looked back to Madison, apparently it seemed like so much time had passed because Madison now had one of the guys on the ground, and another in her strong grip. I tried to get the girls attention, finally whistling slightly as they all turned to look at me. I motioned for them all to come, and they did. They first walked but then ran, running a little farther then us. I looked back to make sure the men weren't looking, which they weren't, motioning Maia, Bella and Amy back to us. They all crouched by our side as Jackson whispered "We need to leave so they won't catch us." I opened my mouth to say something but Mason beat me to it. "No, we're not leaving Madison." He hissed. "She'll make it back okay, it's Madison for gods sake. She can take down a herd of hippos" Jackson rolled his eyes, keeping his voice low.
"Fine, but if she isn't back in an hour we're all going to look for her." Mason hissed, getting up slowly and grasped Bella's hand, running off with her. I sighed and grasped Maia's hand, interlocking my fingers with hers and watched Jackson and Amy leave before muttering, "Everything okay?" She nodded, muttering "Yea, everything's fine. I'll tell you about it when we're back at the Manor." I nodded, rubbing my thumb over her soft skin as we both stood up slightly, keeping low until we were out of view and straightened ourselves, running off into the forest and towards the Manor. I didn't know what the conversation was about with her and the two unknown men, but I didn't like it. And I could tell Maia wasn't sure about it either.
