(Maia's perspective)

I stared around the room slowly, finally my eyes landing on seven people staring at me. I only recognized Bella and Amy who were standing in the crowd. Did they know these people? Why were these people here. "Maia...." I heard the faint whisper from a boy. I turned to look at him, he had blond hair and brown eyes, which reminded me of a lion. I saw him take a step forward, but until another boy stopped him. The boy had brown hair with blue eyes, and he looked a bit like the unfamiliar girl. I finally looked back to Bella and Amy who were staring at me. "How did I get here?" I asked. "You- Well," Bella struggled with the sentence, until an older man stepped in. "Doesn't matter, how are you feeling Maia?" He asked. I flinched slightly, how did he know me?

"How do you know my name?" I asked sharply. The man looked puzzled, and look back to the others alarmingly. What was wrong? "What's my name?" The girl, who looked like the other boy who had stopped the lion- eyed boy stepped forward. "How would I know?" I asked. "What's his name?" She pointed to the older man, who was at my bedside, staring down at me with glittery eyes. "I-I don't know." I answered. "Do you remember anyone here?" She asked. "Bella and Amy." I answered, looking at them with a small smile. "Oh, this should be interesting." The girl muttered, backing up into the corner. "Maia-" Amy started, until she was cut off by a boy with reddish hair. "Hold up, you don't remember me?" He asked. I shook my head, watching him carefully as he approached me.

I don't know why everyone was acting so shocked, I couldn't remember any of them, except for Bella and Amy of course. The blond hair man stepped forward, giving me a longer chance to stare at his eyes. He kneeled down beside my bed, and I could see how tired he looked. Who were these people? He had a clear expression planted on his face; sadness. "You don't remember me?" His voice was barley a whisper. He reached his hand forward hesitantly, then yanked it back in time before I could react in any way. I was afraid to say no, would that bring tears and more sad faces? It was true though, I couldn't remember them. "I'm sorry no." I muttered. The boy took a step back, as he stared at me. He was mouthing a couple of words at me, but to be honest he was going so fast I could only able to read "love" and my name. I didn't know what he was trying to say, but he turned and glared dangerously at the old man. "Thanks a lot Icas, you destroyed my life." He snapped, then hurried out.

I flinched as the door slammed shut, I saw the two younger boys looking at each other, before running out after the blond boy. Icas. What a strange name, was it a normal name? Maybe he's from another country? "Where are you from?" I asked "Icas". He looked at me strangely, then turned to sit in one of the chairs, staring at the ground. "What went wrong?" I heard the girl whisper. Her hair was beautiful, I wish I had that nice of hair. "I don't know, the spell might have damaged something." Icas whispered. "Like her memory. Poor Ryan is going to be locked in his room forever now." The girl hissed. Ryan? Who was he? The blond hair boy? Too many names, all at once.

I shook my head slightly, turning to Bella and Amy who were still continuing to stare. "Why did you two disappear?" I asked. "Disappear?" Amy echoed. "Yes, one day you both left. I had no friends, you guys left me. Where did you go?" I asked again. Bella and Amy had left one day, the day after Stephanie and I got in that fight with "no big deal problems". The next day I show up, and they weren't there. I thought they were sick, but after a couple of weeks I lost hope. Of course I called and texted, but they never answered. Nor their parents. "We didn't-" Bella started but Icas stopped her. He muttered something to her in her ear, then sat back down again. "You're right we were sick." Bella said. "So sick." Amy added. "I called and texted you but you never answered." I frowned. "My phones broke. I don't know about Bella." Amy replied slowly. "Um, my electricity broke." Bella stuttered. I heard the smack of a hand hitting skin, I turned to see Icas smacking himself. "By any chance," Amy turned to me. "Do you remember a name, like Jake?" Amy asked. "No doesn't ring a bell. And," I turned to the unfamiliar girl and Icas.
