"What do you want." I hissed. "You dead." The Counsellor. I whipped my head at him, feeling the urge to stab in the heart and end it all. "But, we know that won't happen." The Counsellor shrugged. "I'm not dying before Maia wakes up." I snapped. "Enough talk, why are you here?" Mason said harshly, still holding onto his bleeding hand. I turned my head to look behind us, as Brittney answered Mason in a gentle voice. "We- I mean no harm to you, I wouldn't let you get hurt." I turned to see Brittney whispering in his ear. "Oh back off, he has a girlfriend." I snapped. Brittney turned her hard glare on me, her green eyes piercing my soul. "You know what, if Maia never wakes up, call me." Brittney winked, brushing her curly brown hair out of her beautiful green eyes. I stared in shock, as I looked to Mason who was about to strangle her. "What do you want" I sighed, turning to Jake.
"Maia." He answered quietly. I had to chuckle, his request was quite amusing. I couldn't believe that he thought he could get Maia. "No." I chuckled. "I don't take no as an answer, I'm taking her." He crossed his arms. "I'm sorry, are you stupid? Has someone knocked the sense out of you?" I asked, roughly knocking against his skull. I chuckled softly as he glared at me, slapping my hand away. "I said no, if you want her, go through me first." I snapped, standing my ground. "Alright, fine." Jake shrugged. I narrowed my eyes at him for a while, why wasn't he being more violent? Jake suddenly stalked towards me right into a tree, I wasn't scared, I needed to know what he was about to do. For my safety and Mason's. Suddenly, his hands wrapped around my neck tightly. I knew it was Jake, I just had to stay calm, I couldn't show any fear. "Listen here carefully, I want you to know that Morren is still after his daughter." Jake hissed. "And he wants us to finish the job, and I'm not letting you little rotten children ruin my chances to impress him. Got it?" Jake suddenly pressed his face closer, and I could see the blood pounding behind his eyes.
I didn't even bother to answer, instead I kicked out in front of me. Jake gasped and released his grip, stumbling back. "I got it, but I won't let it happen. Move you're butts and go die in the Underworld." I hissed. Jake snarled, his face darkening. "Ryan why..." Mason grunted. "C'mon, this will be fun." I grinned, taking out my dagger. "You have five seconds, before surrendering and giving up Maia, or else you both will be killed right here, right now." Jake growled. Brittney had suddenly grew sharper nails, as she bared her teeth. "Five seconds? Do you honestly think that threat will work? Are you that dumb?" I laughed out. "Fine." Jake shrugged, his whole skin turning dark and slimy. I looked to Mason who was mouthing words. "If I come back Bella's going to kill me." I grinned, motuhign words back. "Move your legs as fast as you can, take a longer way to the Manor. Brittney will probably be after you. Be careful." I nodded. Mason nodded, taking out his daggers. I bolted to the left, running as fast I can away from Jake.
I hope dearly that Mason had left, or else he would be ripped to shreds. That boy does have some sense, so hopefully he figured it out. I heard thumping paws behind me, as I turned to look back I saw the Counsellor and Jake running behind me. I noticed that Jake was much closer considering he had so much speed. I could see the pointy roof of the Manor in the distance, so I turned left, then another left so I would be running in the opposite direction of the Manor. I had to keep them away, or else probably everyone would panic and god knows how we would end up.

I leaned against a tree, not having enough oxygen to breath. I tried to quiet my panting, but it seemed impossible. I had been running for what seemed like forever. I had no idea where Mason was, I haven't heard any screams or snarls in the distance so something tells me that he made it. "YOU IDIOT, GET HIM! USE YOUR TRACKING SKILLS!" I heard a man roar. I looked behind the tree carefully. I saw the Counsellor and Jake glaring at each other, my heart tightened, they were close. "And you're calling me the idiot? I can't even smell." Jake grumbled. "Why not? You have a nose." The Counsellor said. I grinned into the sky, the Counsellor truly was an idiot. I looked back to see Jake glaring at the Counsellor. "You know, right now I just want to stab you in the heart one hundred times." Jake smiled sarcastically.
