Blake's Pov:"What about Angels?"-Birdy
"So it's just a regular shot. Nothing too serious?" I asked repeating the doctors words, making sure I heard him right.
"Yes." He said nodding.
"I would suggest giving him some time to rest, but other then that you can go see him soon."I trailed off in my own little world, as the doctor told Rossi where Hotch's room was located.
"What about the shooter?" I asked.
"His injuries were much more serious, but he's also okay and in recovery. He's in room fifteen."
"Alright. Thank you so much." Rossi said giving him a small smile, the doctor nodded and walked away.
"You go watch Hotch and I'll watch the shooter?" Rossi asked looking at me.
"Yeah, that sounds like a plan." We both walked off in different directions, I eventually made it to room thirty and opened the door quietly.
"I'm not sleeping." Hotch's voice said as I shut the door.
I turned around alerted.
"You really should be." I stated, wondering how the hell he was already up ten minutes after surgery.
"I can't." He said sitting up.
"Every time I close my eyes, I see her face. And every second or minute I'm in here, I'm not out there looking for her, and she's getting tortured.""We don't know what they are doing to her." I said, that's the best thing I could say. But now hearing me say it out loud, I regretted it.
"They're not letting her braid hair in there." He said angrily.
"I know, I know."
"Where is he?"
"Rossi's with him."
"I want to see him."
"You know I can't let you do that." I said crossing my arms over my chest shaking my head.
"He shot me."
"And that's exactly why you can't meet with him."
"Blake."
"Hotch I'm serious. You need to rest, the doctor said its going to take you three weeks to recover, two of which you have to spend in here."
"There's no way I'm staying in here for fourteen days when I could be helping by looking for my wife!" He said his voice cracking.
"Hotch stop it. Your staying here and that's final." I said glaring at him.
"Fine." He mumbled
"But you need to go look.""Hotch. They just tried killing you-"
"Which means we were getting too close to finding them." He said cutting me off.
"They could try killing you again if I'm not here."
"Call the police and get two officers to watch me."
"The officers-"
"Blake." He said this time, his voice was weak. There were tears in his eyes.
"Please." He whispered."Okay." I said nodding
"I'll set things up with the cops and Rossi if you promise to stay here and just get better."It took him a minute to respond, but he gave me a small nod of his head.
"Fine."
"Hotch. I said promise me."
"I promise." He said with a deep sigh of frustration.
"Okay, now get some sleep. I'll go talk to The police and see what I can work out." He nodded as I walked out of the room shutting the door behind me.
I stood by the door as I pulled my phone out and dialed Reid's number first.
"Any news on Hotch?" He asked right away.
"He's going to be okay." I said, I heard him sigh in relief.
"That depends on your definition of okay." He said
"Anyways, what about the shooter?""He's alive. I'm not sure other then that. Rossi's with him right now, we both think it's best not to leave either one of them alone considering we don't know who's all in on this."
"That's a good idea."
"So do you have any leads over there?"
"Nothing yet, The police said they'd work with us on this to prevent any murders happening."
"That's a good idea." I said repeating the words he said to me seconds earlier.
"Mam a man is asking for you." A nurse said walking up to me, I glanced at her confused.
"Okay-do you mind just standing here and making sure no one gets in here not even a doctor."
"Sure?" She said confused.
"Thank you, I'll be right back." I said walking away.
"Blake? What's going on?"
"Reid I'm gonna have to call you back." I said hanging up the phone before e could respond, my throat went dry.
"How long has he been up?" I asked looking over at Rossi.
"He just woke up." He said glancing at the man in front of us
"I can hear you." The man mumbled rubbing his forehead like he had a headache.
"Who are you?" Rossi asked ignoring his former statement.
"Why does that matter?"
"You shot a federal agent. Twice. You talk and we may be able to work something out."
"She shot me three times." He said giving me a look as he pointed at me.
"He's not going to give us any useful information." I stated looking at Rossi.
"I think your right." He said nodding in agreement.
"Seriously I'm right here." The man said annoyed.
"You want me to be serious? Because I will, seriously you need to start talking because if you don't your going to get charged with so many things you'll never see the light of day again. I mean the kidnap of two federal agents, shooting a federal agent, not talking, but we're profilers-I'm a profiler and I know that without protection your a dead man, not from the surgery or the bullets from your own people wanting you dead for getting caught. Your in serious trouble here and we are not going to help unless we start getting some serious answers from you." He looked at me wide-eyed and shocked.
"If I were you I'd start spilling." Rossi said raising his eyebrow.
"O-okay, I'll talk-but you have to promise full protection. They'll kill me-painfully."
Rossi and I nodded in unison.
"We're listening." Rossi said waiting.
"Okay. Here's the truth-at least everything that I know," he paused, taking a deep breath.
"The truth is-"|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|•|
