CHAPTER 6 ~ Brooke's POV

The morning sun fills my window and I squint my eyes because of the brightness. I lay in bed staring at the ceiling for a good 5 minutes to let my eyes adjust to the brightness and then decide to sit up. I convinced Ella to stay over Saturday night which she did, thankfully. She has done a great job in distracting me from he who shall not be named. Obviously, I'm talking about Voldemort. Just kidding but seriously I am so glad Ella was here to distract me from Zach related thoughts. I get up out of bed after I realise Ella is awake and I walk over to my laptop to get some music up to start off my Sunday morning like I do every Sunday. I search through my playlist, trying to find something that I can just get up and sing and dance to. I look through my playlist but stop when I see "Renegades" by X Ambassadors come up. I turn my laptops volume up to 100 and start to sing along with the song.

As the chorus starts Ella and I sing louder and move our hips to the beat. This is such a good song.

And I say

We keep singing until the song ends and "Drive" by Halsey comes on next. The song is fairly slow so Ella and I don't dance we just sing at the top of our lungs.

Song after song, Ella and I keep singing and dancing. Laughing at how ridiculous we probably look but we don't care. No one can see us.

After we finish our music session we head down to the kitchen to get breakfast. We decide to make pancakes because it's easy and delicious. Cooking the pancakes takes about 10 minutes in total and when they are finished we sit down at the kitchen counter and we start to eat the food we have just made. It is delicious.

"So, what do you want to do today?" Ella asks me.

"I have no clue." I reply. I'm always terrible with ideas on how to spend the afternoon.

"Well that's helpful." Ella jokes.

"What about the beach? Sounds real Tumblr like." Ella suggests.

"What do you mean?" I question. Real Tumblr like?

"You know the whole two best friends, road trip to the beach. Seems tumblry." Ella explains.

"Oh okay"

So, I pack my beach bag and Ella goes home and packs her stuff too. She then comes back to mine and we get into my convertible car. It's a nice day so we take the roof off and drive to the beach with our music blasting.

After 20 short minutes we arrive at the beach and find a spot on the shore to set our beach bags and towels down. I decided to wear my pale pink flowy summer dress. Ella is wearing white shorts which are frayed at the bottom with a black tank top which has a white anchor on it.
