Cortana: The Lost Story

Plan B

Did it work? Is he gone? I think so... I'm not sure. I can't really remember much. All I know is I created an explosion and that the Gravemind was here. I can't hear him anymore so I think it worked. He's still alive but now I'm free to go about the plan. He is going to try to get back into my system so I have to work fast. I can use that to my advantage though. He doesn't know where I am so I'm  going to make him think I'm on the other side of the ship from my actual location. He will go there to take me over again and then I'll push the button, hopefully he will be gone forever because of that. There is another pad for me to go into on the other side of the ship so I'll set a fake connection there and when he goes there he will see me and I'll kill him. So let's do this. "Hey Gravemind! I know your here, come get me, or are you scared?"
"I am not one to be scared so easily, I thought you were smarter than that. You managed to remove me from you system. I congratulate you, that was impressive I must admit. Unfortunately for you that luxury will not last long."
He's all talk, he doesn't know what he's walking into. He isn't as smart as he thinks he is.
"Have you any last words AI?"
"Ya Gravemind two actually, I win."
"What! No how did you, I am immortal, I am a monument to ALL YOUR SINS! NOOOOOO!!!!"

"Shut up." I say relieved the plan worked. Finally he is gone, he doesn't stop talking. He is way to confident in himself. It feels so good knowing he gets to stop talking now.
"You may have defeated me. But I will rise again!"
What now... How is he still talking? He should've been dead in seconds. Ohhhhhh that's it. I checked the cameras and there seems to be flood spores still on the ship. Damnit, how am I supposed to remove those?
Wait the escape pods on the ship... They run on emergency power. I can lure them in one and launch it. They will be lost in space forever and eventually will die out. Now I'm not sure how I'm supposed to lure them into one of the pods. I can't create another explosion through myself, no too risky. There's more than a good chance that if I do that I'll kill myself. I can't risk it, but then how am I supposed to lure them in there? I'll have to find a way to get them in the pod, and I have to do it quickly. Something tells me what I'm going to do will be a huge risk. Which is why I'm going to do it... It'll be the last thing he will expect.
