Managed to divert the power to the radar this week... Now hopefully it'll last. Now moving on I have been digging into the Forward Unto Dawns records to see what I missed while I was stuck with the Gravemind. Apparently the elites were dethroned as second to the prophets and it was given to the brutes. This made the elites upset and caused a revolution. The hunters joined the elites side, as well as half of the grunts. The other half stuck with the prophets. That's why it seemed they were fighting when John and I tried to kill truth the first time. After this the arbiter and his crew met up with the marines on the battlefield and decided it would be best to team up against what remained of the covenant. They confronted Tartarus and he told them that they were too late and truth will activate the rings ending the flood once and for all. Knowing they would die if the rings were activated they killed him. The Oracle told them where the cartographer was and how truth planned to use it. John, Arbiter, Sgt.Johnson and Keyes were sent in to stop him. Keyes and Johnson got there first where Keyes was killed. John and Arbiter showed up soon after and got Johnson out of there after they killed truth. The Gravemind attacked them and they barely escaped. Looks like that's about everything I missed. I wasn't gone very long at all but they managed to fit a whole lot of important stuff in that small time period. A revolution, a truce between mortal enemies and the destruction of an entire species happened and I only saw the end of the species destruction. I feel pretty left out. We haven't seen any traffic come by yet but I don't expect any to arrive for another year now. Seeing as I barely made it through until now and it's not even been a year yet I don't think I am going to like the situations that will be happening over the next year. I can make though I know I can. I'm not a normal AI I can handle myself. I think I proved that by singlehandedly outsmarting the Gravemind and killing him. I only hope I can keep John alive as well. I am going to have to do my best to try. I cannot let him down. I told him I chose him because he was the best, and he is, but there was another reason I never told him. I liked him. From the moment I first saw him in battle there was something about him I liked more than everything else. I didn't care that he was reckless, all I wanted was to be his AI. I honestly don't know what it was that made me like him, maybe it was his confidence even when he shouldn't have it. Or his luck, which is the best I've ever seen. But as soon as I saw him I knew... he was the one.
