Kailyn's POV

My life was completly fine before he came in. I was 17. I had just started my senior year of high school and I was looking forward to it. My classes were mostly electives, and my friends were all there on the first day. My best friend Alyssa seemed as excited as I was. I was about to go and say hi, but her boyfriend stepped right in front of me. I wasnt going to let that stop me from saying hi, so I pushed Joey out of the way and greeted her with our best friend handshake. He rolled his eyes, but I didn't care.

The bell rang and I went to my first class which was choir. I walked into the class with my tight gray skinnys and my red tank top. My light brunette hair was in curls that go down just below my shoulders, and my bangs were straight and down to the side. When I walked in I saw my close friends: Sam, Kayla, my closest guy friend Chris, and of course, Alyssa.

The teacher told us to go to our seats. She began to take attendance. That's when he comes in. "Kellin Bostwick..." She called out for attendance.

"HERE!" he yelled as he burst through the classroom, obviously late. He was wearing tight black jeans, his perfect dark black hair that goes to the nape of his neck and his eyes... which were amazing. I couldn't stop staring at them; they were amazingly green and blue... That's when he looked up and matched me, staring into my hazel irises. I shyly looked away, but I kept my ears tuned in to see what the teacher was saying to him. No suprise she was yelling at him for being late. After her rant he sighed and looked up.

Kellin's POV

After that bitch of a teacher stopped scolding me for being 2 minutes late, I sighed and looked up for a place to sit. I saw a spot right next to the girl I caught staring at me (or into space) when I walked in. I contemplated on whether to sit there, or find a new spot. Right in the middle of my thoughts the teacher yelled at me once again, so I just decided to sit next to her. I started walking towards the back row.

Kailyns POV

He looked frustrated, then he started towards me. I looked down at my book and pretended to read. He interrupted my fake reading and asked if he could sit in the seat next to me. "Oh, of course you can," I said a little too preppy.

Kellin's POV

I said, "Thank you," as I sat down. She smelled like lilacs and strawberries. I suddenly got a text from my bro Logan. He texted me asking if I want to ditch next hour. "Hell yeah I do," I whispered loudly. She turned slightly, giving me an indication that she indeed heard me. I felt embarrassed since the only things she has heard me say is barely anything at all. Hell, I dont even know her name. I muffled up my courage and asked her her name.

Kailyn's POV

He asked me my name. For a second I forgot, then said my name was Kailyn. He smiled, and boy did butterflies erupt in my stomach. He had a perfect smile mixed with his lips that looked so soft and comforting. I asked him his name but I obviously already knew it from the previous incident with him being late and all. He told me his name was Kellin.

Kellin also asked why I was reading when we were in choir class. I told him I was just seeing what it was about and put it down to avoid any other embarrassment. I asked him what he whispered "Hell yeah" for. He just smiled and laughed, a laugh that made my heart pump, and said "My friend invited me to ditch," he said it very simply and casually.

Then it hit me he was a trouble maker. The guy who knows everyone, who pisses off all of the teachers, and skips; definitely the opposite of me. "Thats really cool, I wish I could go," I said. Then I realized what I had just said.

Kellin's POV

She wished she could skip? I thought she was one of those girls who actually cared. I gave her a questioning look. She smiled an awkward smile and said, "Umm... uhh... I... don't... I mean... ughh.. I meant I wish that I could be as carefree as you. " I didnt know what I was going to say back, but I knew I wanted to definitely keep talking to her. All I said is "You should try it sometime."
