(XXII) Practice takes up time

Kailyn's POV

I was at my locker when someone came and hugged me from behind.

We walked out to the parking lot. Of coarse all of our friends were there.

We talked well messed around for awhile before we were ushered off campus and to get to Kellin's car.

We were driving when I asked him "You want to go on a triple date tonight?"

He nodded head "Yea defiantly" he said it so enthusiastic it sounded like he was really exited."

"Great" I gave him a quick kiss and called out "See you later" as I shut the car door.

I went in my apartment and got comfortable. I was about to text Alyssa that we were still on for the date when a message from Kellin popped up.

I clicked on it and it read

Him: I'm soo sorry Kailyn I can't go I have practice tonight but defiantly tomorrow :(

I decided to text back

Me: It's okay but practice for what?

Him: A band :) I can come over after...

Me: yes of coarse That's great have fun love you :* bye.

Him: Bye love you.

I went to mine and Alyssa's messages and texted her

me: off for tonight busy...on for tomorrow?

Her: yesh bai

That was easier than I thought. I had nothing to do now. Sat around and waited. 2hours later while I was laying down on the couch Sam busted through the door.

"I had the best time with Jesse EVER!"
I immediately sat up "tell me everything"

"Welp first we went to Starbucks which is fucking amazing. Then we just talked. I don't even remember what it was about we were just talking non-stop... I've never connected with anybody like this before"

A huge grin plastered all over her face. I smiled "I am so happy for you Sam."

I pulled her into a tight hug. "Well damn looks like I have to get to work and now that I know your alive I should go get ready and leave."

I was going to take off but since my plans were cancelled I decided to go in and take the off day tommorow.

I got ready and yelled bye to Sam she was in her room.

I walked it wasn't really that far but Kellin always insisted on driving me.

Guess tonight I'm not as important... My thoughts drifted off.

I mentally slapped myself Kailyn your important to people especially Kellin.

I clocked in a left just as bored. I walked home no use in calling

I got home and collapsed on the couch. Sam poked her head out "oh your not a robber"

I gave her a questionable look as she stepped out full view with a heavy all metal bat in her hand.

"What the Hell?" She shrugged her shoulders "What it's just incase of emergencies."

We both burst out laughing. My stomach growled but I didn't feel like eating anything... Come to think of it the last time I ate something was in the morning and that was one bagel.

She looked at me "Kailyn are you going to et something?"

I shook my head "I'm not hungry" she gave me that "really now" face.
