Kailyn's POV

I woke up stretching my back out making it crack into what seemed like one million pieces. I smiled with the relief on my muscles.

I dragged myself off the couch. It was about 2:00pm and they should be coming home in about an hour. By 'they' I mean Olidia, Kellin and Sam. I yawned one more time before entering my room.

I could use a shower even though I took one this morning. I slid into the warm heat of the water. I washed myself and such. I came out and picked an outfit:
Faded Black Skinnies, Monster sweater I earned from collecting tabs and my lime green and blue fuzzy socks.

I put the outfit on and brushed through my hair. I plugged my straightener into my wall and straightened it while jamming to I need your love. oops.

When I got done I went to put the straightener back in the bathroom. When I put it down I accidentally looked up into the mirror.

I was left with a constant reminder that she was dead and it was my fault. I looked away not wanting to cause more pain than I already had.

I heard peoples in the living room. PT for perfect timing. I opened my door revealing a Kellin about to walk in.

"Hi" I said as I looked up at him. I mean he was short but I was even shorter now that I think about it.

"Hey Kailyn you have a good day?"
"Ehh" I replied wrapping my arms around his torso. He in return wrapped his arms around me holding me tighter. For some reason I feel safe in his arms like I'm protected from the cruel world.

Kellin's POV

I was driving the group home. I didn't see Kailyn all day meaning she stayed home. I can't wait to see what shes been doing all this time. My thoughts were interrupted by the loud ringing of my phone from getting a call.

I picked up my phone and hit answer. Jesse's voice came blaring through.

"Kellin I have something so amazing you don't even know can you make it over here?"

"Yea as soon as I get done dropping off the peeps and saying hi to Kailyn."

"Ok and is she ok no one keeps me updated anymore."

"Yea she's fine see you in about 30 minutes"

"Ok bye"
I hung up the phone and parked my car next to the curb.

"Who was on the phone?" Sam asked desperate.

"Jessie why?"

She looked sad. "Oh no reason."
"You sure?"

"Yea I'm fine." I knew those words too well. I decide to just let it go until later.

We all get out of the car and went into the apartment. I walked up to Kailyn's room just to have it opened right away without me knocking. I smiled down at her.

Hey Kailyn you have a good day?"
"Ehh" she replied wrapping her arms around me, I in return wrapped my arms around her.

I let go to read a text I got from Jesse.

J-dog: dude forget what i said bring everyone its time to celebrate and party.
Me: what is the occasion?
J-dog: that is why you have to hurry and get your ass over here. Gabe Jack and Justin are already
Me: omw

I put my phone away and looked at Kailyn once again. "Kailyn you feel like going to Jesses house he has a surprise he wants to tell us/party going.?"

"Ummm sure why not" She smiled.
