(VI) Past and Present

Kailyn's POV

When he kissed me it felt like all of my problems went away. Even though I knew I had to face them at some point they just dissapeared when he kissed me. Today I am going to face them. Later I will call Angela. I will tell Kellin everything because I know he cares. I will not try to escape I must face them.

"Kellin", I said as I departed from his lips

He said "what?"

"I need to tell you something" He shushed me and told me I could tell him later. Then the bell rang. He said he would see me after school. I think he was ditching English and I don't think he even had gym with me in the first place, not that I would even participate in it.

He got up and went down the hallway. I got my stuff from the classroom and started to leave. Then the teacher stopped me and asked if I could stay and talk to her really quickly. I sighed and said "Yes" and walked over to where she was standing.

"why did you run out?" she asked me. I replied with "I have a lot of things going on and Everyone was laughing and I couldnt take it." She tsked and said "Well that is no reason to run out of class like that, I'm sorry but I have to give you a detention after school." I was shocked that she said this doesn't she understand, nope I guess she doesn't. She handed me the detention slip and a pass to my next class.

As soon as I got out of the class I punched the wall. It was a mistake my wrist throbbed but I dealt wth the pain and walked to class. When I got there it was 5 minutes passed the bell, But needn't worry I have a pass.

When I got in the class I noticed Kellin wasn't there and I didn't really expect him to be. Well now I can actualy learn something. But it isn't as fun as it used to be.

Kellin's POV

When I left I regretted it I wanted to be with her but I need to talk to Logan because now she knew the truth. I need to fix it.

I walked to the usual closet we skipped in. He was there on his phone like usual.

"hey" he said casually. Clearly he did not understand that I was mad.

I looked at him and said angerly "Logan your my brother so I have to love you, but you have no consideration for anyone else but you and Sam, You don't care about anyone else. Do you have any idea what you can cause people to do because of what you say?"

He looked at me like I was crazy and said "yea, but that is their problem not mine" and went back to his phone.

I said " fine but when you need someone to help you, don't even consider me at all" and I left.

I didn't know where I was going.I don't even care If I get caught. So I stayed in the hallway against a locker. I thought about what Kailyn's story is. And what made her snap like that. What was everything building up inside her? The bell rang and I got up ready for Math.

She had gym right now but I know she won't be participating. I slowly walked to class and made it just in time. The teacher looked at me and said "Welcome to this class, nice of you to join us Kellin."

Kailyn's POV

The gym teacher had me sit out. I was happy because I could have participated if I wanted to. But I didn't want to and this brace helped me with that. All I want to do is fix the past so everything will be okay. I want to tell Kellin everything. And I want Kellin to tell me everything, even know there is nothing wrong with him that I know of.

The class was playing dodgeball. Kayla was playng and she looked pretty into it.

Well the bell rang and I got up and left.
