(XIII) Everything is going to be okay

Kellin's POV

He started crying really hard and tears tried to force themselves from my eyes as well. I held them back because right now at this moment I had to be strong for my brother. He was in a completly different world he didn't even notice me pull him up from the ground.

I let him stand there. He started to return back to normal. He looked me in the eye and "thank you for stopping me" I nodded and said " I couldn't let you do that." He lightly smiled and nodded. I started to leave.

Right before I closed the door Logan said "Are we cool bro? I smiled and said "yea we cool." I closed the door I went into the bathroom until the bell rang.

I can't believe that just happened it was a reaction thing I wasn't really thinking.

I now had to talk to Kailyn and what was actually going on I bet she thought I was mad at her when really I was mad at Steve.

I saw her walking towards gym class. I knew she hated this class so I knew she wouldn't be mad if I stopped her.

"Kailyn" I said loudly so she could hear me over all of the other people in the hallway.

She turned around and said "what?" I pulled her out of the middle to the side of the hallway. I could tell she was nervous. She was biting her lip and I can tell anything she is feeling by the way her eyes look.

I stuttered St..eve is trying to take yo.. u from me. She looked at me in suprise and asked "are you jealous?" I could see relief in her eyes she was nervous about something. She looked in my eyes and said " look I didn't do anything with him he just kept asking what hapened" as she motioned to her bruises.

I nodded and said " I didn't assue anything it's just he is trying to.. he is making me so..so -" she cut me off and said "jeolous yea I can tell well I have to get to class see ya later bye." and just like that the conversation I feared was over with.

I went to class and with 30 seconds to spare.

Kailyn's POV

I got to gym class,I saw Alyssa and immediatly ran over there and gave here a huge hug. "Dafauq" she asked questioningly. "Thank you for always being there for me" I said in a happy tone.

She shrugged me off and said " whatever let's just go play some dodgeball" I nodded and we headed over to a side.

Me and Alyssa never really did anything during the game but somehow we always ended up being the last two still standing. We were just exelent dodgers.

One time when we were the last ones people kept yelling at us to get them back in Alyssa yelled at them " Well then maybe you shouldn't have gotten out in the first place" that shut them up long enough so we could catch it and get everyone back in.

Of course then we would do our legendary handshake and begin the cycle over again. The bell rang and I went to my next class, Spanish.

I went in and I was catching on with Spanish I knew enough words and rules to have a whole conversation not a deep one but a lazy friend kind of conversation.

That class went by because we watched a movie.

Math was hard because we had a pop quiz, Whatever I had free period now and so I went to the parking lot where Alyssa, Chris and Sam were standing.

I waved hi to them and joined their random convo. I saw Kellin walking around the corner with ...Joey. They both joined us and Joey kissed Alyssa's cheek she blushed and continued talking.

Me and Kellin slowly disconnected from the group and talked about being hungry. We asked the group if they wanted to go grab something before returning to school.
