(XXV) I Missed You

Kellin's POV

"Maybe your right" I said.

I missed Kailyn more than anyone will ever know. She was my everything and I need to see her. Weather she is sleeping or awake. It doesn't matter as long as I get to see her face.

I grabbed my keys and darted out the door. I got in my car and drove. I can't wait to see her. It's been like 2 weeks

I arrived at the hospital. "Kailyn?"

"Second floor room 224" I walked to the elevator. I hit the second floor button. I glanced to my left and I saw the girl from the restaurant. "Olidia?"

She looked up and sniffled "Oh hi" She exited to the lobby and left the hospital. The doors closed and I was left to myself. Well myself and this horrible elevator music.

Now if they actually played good music people wouldn't complain. It finally reached the second floor after what seemed like an eternity.

I walked down the halls. Room 222, 223, 224.

I looked in the window. There lay Kailyn. She moved. She was awake. Oh thanks whoever for not telling me.

She looked so sad. I mentally punched myself for not coming to see her earlier.

I opened the door and her head shot up.

"Kellin?" She said with her voice breaking. I got to her bedside in maybe less than a second.

"Kailyn I missed you so much I am so fucking sorry for not coming to see you. I just couldn't bear the thought that you might be in here forever. I finally came cause I missed seeing your beautiful face everyday. When I saw you were awake you don't know how happy I was. I love you Kailyn."

She started crying. I leaned in and kissed her. I missed kissing her I missed hugging her I missed everything about her.

She broke the kiss. "Kellin I-"

She stopped in mid-sentence as if she was contemplating on telling me.

"Kellin I missed you too. I was all alone without anyone and I was scared but I'm glad to be back" she finished off with a smile.

I embraced her. "Kellin come lay with me" I got in one side of the bed. She snuggled into my chest. She lay her arm across my body. Embracing me to her.

I glanced down

"Kailyn..."

She looked up at me crying already."I'm sorry Kellin"

"You promised me"

Kailyn's POV

As soon as he said Kailyn I knew he had saw. I knew he had saw my ugly scars. The ones I made because I didn't feel wanted. I was crying because why would he want me now?

I broke a promise we shared.

He looked deep into my eyes. "Why?"
"I don't know" is all I could say. I don't have any specific reasons just a whole bunch of jumbled mess.

I used to be so happy. I wasn't this. This wasn't me. I was happy, all good grades, didn't break rules, didn't get into fights, didn't have enemies.

Why did I do this? It was because I was bottling all my emotions up and finally they were let out. It was relief and release. But I promised him I wouldn't do it anymore. And I made him promise he wouldn't do it either.

I told him my reasons. He just held me tight. "Everything will be alright I'm here now, never leaving you again."

I drifted off into sleep. Knowing he will never leave me again.
