Now that I have every power at will, I'm REALLY tempted to see what I'm able to do. First, I try all of my team's powers.

Invisibility, check. I walked to Clarissa's house and located her room (the pink one with the chandelier, of course) and started talking to her, and she freaked, screaming, "GHOST! GHOST! AHHHH!!". I held in so much laughter, I couldn't breathe. That might come in handy some day.

Weather, check (I have to practice that a bit more, though, since I only managed to make it drizzle).

Animals, check. I managed to make the golden retriever obey my hand motions, and I think I was able to produce a few whiskers when I thought of a cat.

Plants, check. I was able to make a petunia grow out of thin soil.

Fire, check. I summoned fire to my hands and played basketball with a fireball (I almost set the houses around me on fire, since my skills are not placed on basketball). I made a mental note to myself not to do that again.

Now satisfied with my power, I glance at my watch, and it reads almost 3:30. What? I need to get going!

I quickly make a mental note to try some other powers at home, and start sprinting to Flora's and Fauna's house. Then, I stop. I don't have to sprint! I can become super-fast!

I wish that I can become super fast, and I do. I start to walk, but my legs magically move like they're running, and I move about 30 yards instead of a foot. The golden retriever yelps behind me and catches up. Oops. Forgot about him. I pick the dog up and start running. Everything's a blur, so I make myself have super sight, and I can magically see. Flora's and Fauna's house is coming up at the distance, and soon enough, I screech to a stop in front of the yellow house I visit every week.

As soon as I ring the bell, Christine answers immediately, looking really worried.

"Where were you?" she asks, concernedly ushering me inside. "And... Where'd you get that?" she gestures to the golden retriever, who is looking loyally up at me.

"Well, I was on my way here when I saw him" (I gesture to the dog) "tangled up in a bunch of vines, so I..." I hesitated, unsure whether or not to tell Christine about my new power.

"I untangled him." I finish, feeling a bit guilty about half-lying to Christine, whom I'd been starting to kind of think of as my mother.

Christine's face unravels with relief.

"All right. The girls were worried, too. They said you'd be coming and that you were at school, so there wasn't a concrete reasons for you to be gone."

"Speaking of them, where are they?" I ask.

"In the basement." Christine says, and, reading my mind, adds, "Don't worry, they're not practicing without their leader."

I grin gratefully, apologize for any major worry I might have caused, and go downstairs.

As soon as I'm on the last step, the eerie silence of the basement is broken with an explosion of questions.

"Where were you?"

"We've been worried sick!"

"What took you so long?"

"We waited and waited, but you didn't come!"

"Where'd you get the dog from?"

Finally, I hold up my hands, and everyone quiets down.

"First of all, let me at least put my stuff down. Then, I'll tell the whole story."
