"Well then, it looks like we've got a problem." Fauna says, mimicking exactly what I had just thought to myself.

Huh. Funny how the world works.

The man attempts to approach Flora with his blackjack, who I guess he saw as the weakest one.

Wow, how wrong he is.

Before he even took his second step, the man was suddenly entangled by vines adorned with thorns. Struggling (and failing) to escape from his bondage, the criminal howls as the thorns bite into his skin.

"That's what you get for messing with me," Flora murmurs quietly with her signature small smile.

"I'll take that," Reece says, and she snatches 2 gym bags (obviously containing the money) from his hands.

The people in the bank slowly get up in relief and also in awe. They stare at Flora, who had grown thorny vines out of thin air, in amazement. After a while, someone snaps out of their trance and says, "Thank you so very much."

"It's our pleasure," I say. "How much money was being held in there?"

A man in a black suit, obviously in charge, tells me that there had been $500,000 dollars being held in the bank. I give him back that much from the gym bag and turn around to face my friends.

Then, a thought hits me. The robber had teleportation! Couldn't he have just disappeared out of his thorny prison? I turn to see the man still there, but realization was creeping across his face. Before I can stop him, he grins and disappears.

I scream in frustration, and suddenly my friends are by my side, staring at the now limp vines in shock.

"Shoot!" Reece yells, stamping her foot on the floor.

"He got away!" Fauna says, doing the same.

"Agh! We had him, too!" Isabella chimes in.

"Well, at least we got the money back," Flora mutters, shrugging her shoulders and gesturing to the people behind us. "At least they're safe and have their money."

"Exactly." adds Tempest.

"You know what, Flora, you're right," I announce. "At least everyone's okay and they've got their money, that's all that matters."

"That's true," Reece says.

"Yep," Fauna agrees.

"Sure!" Isabella cheers. At that moment, the people all start to chant.

"The Extraordinaires! The Extraordinaires!" "Thank you!"

I guess being a superhero's not as bad as I thought.
