"Sooooooooooo,Owba what are you cooking for dinner?" I asked walking in the door of the cabin. Owba put the groceries on the table and unpacked them. "How does spaghetti sound?" I nodded anxiously. Spaghetti is my favorite!!!
"Then Spaghetti it is." Owba smiled. I went to my room to put away my new clothes.
Aoba's P.O.V
I got out the pot and pan, pre heating the oven. I smiled to myself seeing that Jaz smiling brightly at what I was making for dinner. Lila flew over to my shoulder.
"Oh hey Lila."
"Spaghetti is her favorite."
My eyes widen. "Really?!"
"Yes, but she rarely eats it at times but at least your trying to bind with her in other ways." Lila looked at me and.I smiled brightly. "I won't let her down."
Lila nodded and flew off my shoulder. Looking over my shoulder Mink was on the couch reading his new book. I looked back to cooking the meal.
Mink's POV
Jaz went to her room, and Aoba was in the kitchen cooking. I was in the living room on the couch reading.
10 Parenting Tips
1. Give kids some leeway. Giving her a chance to establish her own identity, giving them more independence, is essential to helping them establish their own place in the world. But if it means she's going out with a bad crowd, that's another thing to deal with.
Hurracan flew my shoulder looking down at the book. "How's the book going?" I sighed. "Just taking everything step by step and so far it's letting Jaz find herself just as I found mine."
"I see. As you said it takes time but the progress will show within her."
I nodded.
Aoba setted up the table knowing that he finished cooking. Closing the book putting it on the book shelf I went to get Jaz to wash up. As I walked to her door knocking softly she opened the door.
"What?" She asked wearing a grey tank top, red and black checkered pajama pants with her hair in a messy bun. She looks grown. "Dinner is ready, wash up."
Her eyes light up which puzzled me.
"Yay, the spaghetti is finished!!" Running out of her room to the kitchen.
Lila chuckled. "If you're wondering she's such in glee then you should already know."
"Spaghetti must be her favorite then?"
Lila nodded. "Yes."
I nodded walking to the dining area. Hurracan flew off my shoulder as I sit down. Jaz was pouncing in her seat looking down at her food. I've never seen her this full of happiness like this. Her smile is just like her mothers. Aoba sat down in his seat. "Lets dig in!" he said. Jaz grabbed her fork quickly but I stopped her.
"Pray first."
She put her fork down putting her hands together bowing her head. I shook.my head out of amusement then prayed. "Now to dig in!" Jaz said.
Jaz's POV
The food smelled so good I should give Aoba the credit. I picked up my fork digging into my food taking the first bite then stopped. My nose crinkled.
Aoba looked over. "Is everything okay Jaz?"
I swallowed my food hard. "You seasoned the meat too heavily." How can you mess up a dish like this?!
"A-Ah, really?! I thought it was a good amount. Mink what do you think?" I tutned my head towards dad. He was eating it has it's nothing.
"I think it's fine." he said.
Oh god dad lies!! Your taste buds fool you!
Picking up my fork again I have to be graceful to Aoba for cooking...I have to eat the entire thing. Here goes nothing.
