Chapter 7: Text or not to text

As both, Owba and I were talking and after I played for my supplies we walked home chatting more. It was good now that we were since it was calming than irradiating.

"Hmmm...."

"What?"

"I don't know if I should text him or not."

Owba chuckled. "Don't think you're ate rushing things just do it. And besides I think this Jacob will be happy to hear from you."

"You sure?" I asked making sure.

"Positive."

Well no worries there. Lila shook his head. "I could only image what Mink would say or do if he found out that you we're dating." My face darked red. "Lila?! Not dating just friends!"

"Well he did give you his number, so you ate practically dating."

I sighed in defeat. "Okay okay whatever."

We reached the cabin and seeing Ren greeting us. "Welcome back."

"Hey Ren, thanks for watching the house." Owba said smiling to his allmate.

"No problem."

Lila flew off my shoulder and I walked to my room putting my supplies down. Pulling the piece of paper out my pocket. I stared at Jacob's number.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to text.

I turned on my coil entering his number.

"......"

"....."

What am I suppose to say?! Just start off simple as a greeting.

[11:35 am] Hey Jacob, it's Jaz.

"Now I wait."

I pulled out my supplies and sketches of my designs. I checked my coil every three minutes but I had to concentrate on my design I was making.

Bing!

I checked my coil. Jacob had texted back.

Jacob [11:45 am]: Hey Jaz :)

[11:45 am]: How's it going?

Jacob [11:46 am]: Nothing much really just hanging out with some of my friends at home, you?

[11:47 am]: Building my design I sketched out.

Jacob [11:48 am]: Ooo, intresting. What is it that you're building? A robot?

[11:53 am]: Nah, too simple. It's something personal but I'm not telling you what I'm a building.

Jacob [11:54 am]: :( Aww why not? It's not like I'll take your idea and sell o t for ptofit.

[11:56 am]: Hey who know. But still no.

Jacob [11:57 am]: Pretty pls?

[11: 57 am]: Uh, no.

Jacob [11:57 am]: Lol okay then. Some friends and I are gonna go to the movies later on. Do you wanna join? Or you gonna stay and work on your design?

Okay I just stopped. Did he just ask me out to the movies?! Unbelievable!!

[12:06 pm]: Rain check, but I'll let you know. Okay?

Jacob [12:07 pm]: Alright talk to you later Jazzy!

Oh geez.
