Chapter 19: Little Moment

Today has been pretty eventful due to the information Geene gave us all. Believe me it's a lot to take in. I see that I couldn't blame most of this on my dad, though I forgave him a long time ago. I sat myself up to the counter where the cash resister was looking at Owba and dad.

"So, besides what we heard today can we be able to do something fun today?" I asked.

Owba tilted his head. "Like what? We can't just leave the shop we have to help Mink out with the shop."

I rolled my eyes. "I know that Owba, but I mean doing something fun while not leaving the store. I mean get some games or food."

Owba turned to dad giving a smile. "I think that seems like fun. It can be our family/work day. What do you think Mink?"

Giving a soft sigh looking at both Owba and I. "Alright, but when someone walks in we go back to what we originally were doing, okay?"

"Yes!! I'll go get some stuff." I jumped off the counter running out the door.

Aoba's POV

Seeing her run out the door made me laugh since she was all hyped up on having family day. "Oi, go with her."

"Eh? Don't you trust Jaz just going somewhere and coming back?"

"It's not Aoba, I just don't trust the people around her. Especially, the boys that are around this area. Nothing but hormonal Weed-head dumb-asses  that will hump anything that moves."

I snorted laughing just hearing that coming from Mink. Trust me this was plain hilarious but, hey he's Mink for christ sake what would I expect? "Well look at you being all protective over little Jaz. Come on Mink she's a teenager this is completely normal."

"Are you really that stupid Aoba? Is anything consider normal to my daughter?"

"Hey you may never know but, okay I'll go be her bodyguard." Giving him a wink walking out with Ren walking along side of me.

Mink's POV 

Shaking my head as Aoba walked out I leaned back against the counter chuckling to myself. "I swear what am I going to do with those two?"
